Some people take this show too seriously, and then complain, lol we are here for fun and the vibes, a show like Twilight is still spoken about almost 20 years after its release. They probably measured it using the heat, not sure if international numbers contribute to the heat index, Iqiyi is also the hardest heat to move and they are known for manipulating it. If heat index was used then it checks out, international users cannot contribute to it and Esther was getting hated on at the time so they might have manipulated it a bit.

Something funny is happening in SAL fandom rn lol

So He Yu is the owner or a part-owner at a BBQ restaurant in Hengdian. Hengdian is a town where 90% of historical C-dramas are filmed, so He Yu, Esther, Zhang Linghe, Cheng Yi, etc, are filming their respective dramas there rn. Esther has been to He Yu's restaurant on her Instagram.

So something funny happened whilst they were promoting SAL. He Yu was meant to make a wish, saying, "Hope Mumu and Little Poms can be together forever," But he said, " He hopes Zhao Zhao and little pomegranates (Esther's fandom name) can be together forever." He's sooooo unhinged 🤣

Moving on to the funny part, Esther is having her booting ceremony for her new show in Hengdian today, so a lot of her fans came to Hengdian to support and decided to go to the BBQ restaurant and tagged it saying, "Now Zhao Zhao and Little Poms can be together forever." They're so silly 🤣🤣

A lot of them went, and there was a long line till 1 am. He Yu went to play basketball today. POMS said he needs to get his ass off the court and in the kitchen and grill the meat because there are too many people.

ahhh I love this, i didn't think about his gestures for her this way, you're right most leading men have lots of time and resources wether it's a CEO in modern dramas or Crown Prince in historical dramas, The one scene that's ingrained in my minds is the scene where he asks her if she has money, she says yes but he still leaves a wad of cash for her incase. and knowing that's probably days of hard work for him. The red packet he gave her wasn't a small amount; almost $500 when I converted it. That's ALOT.

A girl on TikTok asked if there's another ML like JZ, I told her I'm going to hold her hand when I say this; he is the only one. He Yu literally birthed a brand new genre of man in the CDrama world. I watch a lot of dramas, C/K sometimes J. Western Tv shows etc, and He Yu's performance could've gone a different direction that wouldn't have been as poignant, and he would get away with it, especially in a modern drama. But he didn't and gave peak performance. That's why I appreciate it so much. That's why I NEED HIM TO GET FAMOUS.
