We all loved his hair in the first arc. That messy look.
Oh no I loved both arcs and I knew they would lean into mature styling for him. I just felt it didn't feel like him, maybe because he was sad? because it got better after ep 26
Another thing I've been thinking about is if they changed the stylist for the Nanjing arc, I get he's not Brandy anymore, but some of the outfits didn't feel like him anymore, you know? Not complaining, just wondering.
His style was a bit better after ep 25, but ep 21-24, good lord ðŸ˜
It's my FAVOURITE scene as well, even before he said it. No one can say He Yu is a bad actor because he looked so embarrassed and ashamed to be doing what he did. He could barely look into her eyes. S/O to the makeup team, because he looked A MESS.
Not a lot of modern idol dramas have the plot to bring out great acting imo, usually historical cdramas are the way to test an actor's acting abilities etc.
I’m looking at the casting for Esther’s new show and it seems that this is the first time in recent years that her male lead is older than her. I’m excited to see how that’s going to play out
He Yu is online now! Just saw him followed Lin Zi Ye 😆
They star in blossom of power together, he’s very sweet to him and they always hang out, despite their 15-year age gap lol. They play basketball and eat. He might be a prodigy in the making as he started so young. Only time will tell. He's friends with Esther Yu, Zhang Linghe FOF cast etc
