I don't really get it too but Esther Yu gets alot of hate and has been under fire in China for a while now. That's why you see hate comments on here and other places like X. and the reason the rating is so low. Not sure what the full story is but there is also no evidence to support that Esther is in the wrong. She's probably really popular that's why

It's so funny that I had no idea who Mike was before this and saw He Yu as a supporting character once, not even knowing his name. I can't say I don't know Esther but I didn't keep up with her, now I love them all so much

S/O to Mike aka Lin Sui, the actor and the character. The actor was really sweet to He Yu and Esther, when they went to Thailand to film the variety show he prepared so much for them and it was at the height of esthers hate campaign so he did a lot to make her feel better, even gave them access to his restuarnt that wasn't opened yet and always went out with esther when He Yu had to leave. During the Iqiyi event in Thailand, he guided them and translated stuff for them, always by He Yu's side, as he's a bit introverted.

Mike is also very famous in Thailand, but he never tried to make things about him or overshadow the main couple, which I think is a testament to who he is as a person.

yes! But I'm a He Yu fan now and his next drama looks really good, I stopped anticipating dramas after the HUGE dissapointment i felt after kill me love me. I'm coming out of retirement to l anticipate his next drama.

He seems like a sincere person, I see that he might be a bit awkward or shy which adds to his charm

He can play off his experiences / emotions he felt from the character and the scenes that have gotten them to this point. He did so well tho! Plus if you pay attention his body in't as buff in China as it is in thailand because he lost weight for his previous role.

I feel like thailand is humid but he still gets hot in china and needs cooling pads. If I find the clip I'll link it but his upcoming historical drama, he was walking with half the robe off his body and just his bare chest. Not sure if it was for a scene or he's just hot.

I'm just happy they were still a bit freaky because i thought he was going to be very vanilla after the accident and give us "'sweet" moments instead. Ep 21-24 is i was so scared his vibe was gone, like that umph he has but no we got it back so I'm happy

i didn't read the novel but in ep 26 or 27 he was taking a bath and she was teasing him and it just skeps to the next scene, you can tell something was meant to happen but didn't 😭
