One of my favourite scenes that no one is talking about is the scene he gets the operation and his tears are falling whilst he's unconcious with the sad oct playing in the back
Honestly, the "I'm breaking up for your own good" plot is such an old old trope in this day and age. When…
Honestly I agree to disagree with you on this take. and I don't think the angst is unnecessary in this case. Zhao Zhao is not doing well mentally, it's not just physical and he is putting her first.
Mumu is still a bit young and she might agree to stay and take care of him, but being a care giver for someone who might never walk without support is hard, who will provide for them? what state will they end up in? Is she going to quit school to take care of him? is that her life now ? because Mumu's dad can't even help. These things tire a person out and she might regret staying with him as she gets older. These are the things running through his mind. He has always said she was high maintenance and deserves princess treatment, how will he give her that, so many things are uncertain and again he is not mentally well rn.
I know this is a drama and not to over-analyse but at this point in the show we he doesn't know if he will walk again without support, or even keep himself up for a long time, what happens when he needs to use the bathroom, she has to help him and he probably has his pride. She ends up being a care giver and he can't even financially support them.
Mumu aside, Zhao Zhao probably has nothing to live for atp, his case has been solved and he has no parents, probably no future, his garage is probably gone, car gone etc. Everything is so uncertain. I have watched some shows with people with disabilities and some of them don't even want to live anymore so there's also that to navigate.
It's better if they break up so she can heal and move on with her life gain opportunities and meet new people. Those are his thoughts.
I am not saying these are what I think is important but what his thought process is from the outside looking in
Unfortunately the world isn't black and white and communication doesn't solve aeverything, sometimes you have to take actions for the one's you love.
I wish the main male lead didn't push her away🥲 (if what everyone says here is true)... Also, so far, I find…
But you need to consider the male lead, This is a lot of him psychologicaly and he is not sure if he'll be able to walk well again without any support, he is all alone in this.
Zhao Zhao always wants the best for Mumu, always treating her like a princess, if he doesn't have legs how will he earn money to treat her and make things easy for her? She might even end up being his caregiver, what if she agrees to stay with him because she's young and he becomes a burden to her or she gets tired of him. these are all things running through his mind. It's better for him to end things, she heals and moves on. He only wats the best for her.
I’m so confused how was Jin Zhao able to stand on his feet when Jiang Mu came to see him before leaving for…
From what I heard, he worked really hard in rehab to be able to stand on his feet so she doesn't worry about him, rather than being in crutches or a wheel chair. But this took a lot of will power from him so he was very much in pain.
I’m starting to think He Yu is wearing all of his own clothes for this show, the only thing they probably gave him were the overalls. The blue shirt is his, black tang tops are his, racer jacket is his, nasa shirt is his, sunglasses are his etc. You see him still wear all these to go to work in Hengdian.
