I think whats so interesting is this isn't the first pamepered FL with a cute voice we've seen, In hidden Love Zhao Lusi is very cute as well till the time skip, even then she still retains some cuteness but more mature, Zhao Jinmai is also a cute and pampered in AASOL and doesn't even have a time jump so she remains the same so what is the problem 😭. Even though this isn't a cute role, In prisoner of beauty Song Zuer's voice is naturally cute as well

Okay I get what you mean but this stress on her not knowing is what novel readers are saying, when someone watches the drama with no clue. the impression that it gives off is they both know they aren't related. There is barely anything that signifies they thought they were related. i actually liked the fact that there was alot of talk between her, ml, the mum etc about them not being blood related.

Secondly the vibe as you said does not give blood related at all so i'm thinking the directors decided not lean too much on that. You can tell from the beginning that the vibe was very tense and somewhat flirty. i personally sensed somewhat of an attraction from the beginning.

And there's no hesitation from the ML as well, usually in these scenerios you see the ML having mental battles for liking their "sister" or someone he see's as a sister but there's non of that here- which I personally like because I'm not looking for that in a show it makes it more awkward

And the ML is open and not awkward when talking about a potential relationship with her with Sanlai, he's never averse to it. if anything he might say he's not good enough for her before he mentions anything about being related.

ANYWAYYYYYY I choose to believ the directors chose not to lean on that and they probably had episode constraints so they did not want to waste their time. FOR MY SANITY, this is a childhood friend show lol, I did not read the novel and I am willing to live my life without knowing that little tid bit 😭

A lot of people loved Go Ahead; it has an 8.9 on MDL. Why is this one a problem? They didn't even lean into the sibling relationship in the drama (Not sure about the novel) as much as Go Ahead did.

So in the show there was no vibe that gave away she didn't know they weren't related from what I watched, you're right if she just found that out then she shouldn't develop romantic feelings for him this easily. I feel like they tried not to lean on that part a lot in the show

I really like the ML so i might check it out!

I usually notice Good acting or Bad acting, anything in the middle i don't mind it, and here, He Yu breathes life ito this character, people might undermine this because it's a modern drama, but not all characters on paper can translate well to the screens, especially with a character like this, if not done well can come off as cringeworthy or boring. Adding the fact that he doesn't talk much as well, so he has to bring in a certain Vibe/Energy with him. So far, he has a presence that I'm obsessed with.

I saw him in Legend of Shenli, and I had no idea he had this in him. I'm obsessed now.

I also feel like people talk about how hot he is, but not how good his eye acting is. In the scene where he picked her up at the airport, he looked like he had been punched in the gut and was about to cry. My shaylaaaaaa

I hope He Yu gets famous after this, so I can watch more edits of him on TikTok and he gets more work and recognition. He has a historical drama coming out with Meng Ziyi next year, and I will be sat

Her dad is a race car driver and super into cars as well, he took her and ML driving when they were kids, Im sure that's how ML developed his interest in it and explored it when they went to Thai Land, But FL was more enthusiastic about it at the time but she can't do it because of her mum so now that she's in Thailand she can explore that interest. She's not really a badass driver she needs to be taught alot of things even when she was with Sanlai she made alot of mistakes but still knew something about driving because of her time with her dad
