yes I think it' attachment tbh, and I have dramas I feel that way about as well! I should probably start reading novels fro shows but I always want to watch the shows first
Okay, I have a couple of questions about the leaked episode (Just curious)
1. Do international views even count towards the heat because it seems like that's why people want it to be watched on the platforms? 2. For other people who watch on websites, because ALOT of people do, should they not finish th drama? 3. I see a lot of people saying it discredits the work of the actors. How, because it seems like a money-grabbing scheme from Iqiyi and TENCENT. The show already hit 30k, what's left?
They're always over before they start tbh, they haven't even given him a worthy opponent too, just that Sui brother…
Yeah I get he's already achieved his Merits and just there to guide the soldiers but he's always on the battle field. The could've done one and gotten it over with, Like in LLTG AND POB, POB isn't even a serious military drama but Wei Shao got off his horse and was the first one to fight whilst his soldiers waited, then fought in the last few episodes as well.
The scene today where the Marquis fought with the younger Sui brother is actually a Homage to a Chinese movie in 2014 called "Brotherhood Of Blades." The scene is exactly the same with someone lunging forward and their blade being cut off. The cast is stacked too
Please, why are they always cutting Marquis fight. Like I have been looking forward to his fights only to have…
They're always over before they start tbh, they haven't even given him a worthy opponent too, just that Sui brother that keeps losing because he's so rash. They've had so many fights so far just give him one really good one so I can see why he earned those Sun Wukong feathers ðŸ˜
I haven't watched the leaks, only the latest episodes — but overall, this was a decent adaption from the novel.…
I haven't read the novel and I very much understand this is Chang Yu's story and felt she was developed well (imo), but the marquis didn't have any stand out moments imo, and they had many chances to do that for him, there were so many war scenes ffs ðŸ˜
Yes I get he's already the marquis and has proven himself but his fights are always over before they even start ðŸ˜, like even the recent fight with the sui brother he just flicks his sword and they're done, the sui brother isn't even a worthy opponent. In terms of military strategy as well he didn't do anything that makes me go wow you know?
Not comparing these two dramas because I know people on here like to get salty but for example Ling Buyi in LLTG, Everyone knows he's the god of war, the show starts when he earns a lot of merits already just like the marquis here. But there were so man scenes to remind us why he was the god of war, he was put in impossible situations and got out of it bleeding all over.
The younger sui brother as well, that was the writers chance to show how ruthless the marquis is but he just didn't gaf ðŸ˜, I thought he would deal with him so bad after everything he did to Chang Yu but nothing, they just locked him up and gave him every chance to escape
I tried so hard with pillow book but just couldn't tbh, it was all over the place and the story changed from eternal love. eternal love was also one of my first cdramas
Ahahaha is he not on your employee list? I still dk your list yet! lol
no he's not ðŸ˜, I only I have one person on that list 😠(Quite frankly I love everyone I watch , and watch their future dramas as long as they're good)
I'm really busy with university, and I watch this as soon as I wake up to get it out of the way, and then rewatch scenes at night to fully digest it. This show has me laughing so bad the second time around because wtf are they both doing with their bandaged hands ðŸ˜, doesn't it look funny to you guys?
They're both so miserable. Usually, it's one person, but here both are injured in battle, and he's squeezing the life out of her bandaged hands with his bandaged hands ðŸ˜

Does anyone have the link to the novel? Thank you!
