I'm a bit confussed about Xie Zhang's personality. One moment he seems possesive and he would never let her go…
I think in the moment he gets carried away by his emotions and let them drive him to say possessive things and act possessive but after the moment passes he realises he wasn't being fair to her. In the novel he had a rigid character so it's most likely he is not used to thinking this way since he has never loved anyone like this before.
What a beautiful ending to today's episode. I cried. I too loved their time in Lin'an. I even rewatched the first episodes a few days ago because their life in that small village was so beautiful 🥹
I will not understand why this drama is so hyped up. It started good but dragged so bad later. Also this isn't enemies to lovers like everybody was claiming to be. Enemies 10% Lovers 90% is not my thing. And the ML was so foolish and arrogant a lot of times. It was pretty clever of FL to secretly get a tunnel made since she was in "enemy" territory and instead of understanding that he got mad at her and was sulking so bad. Not an ounce of maturity in him. This was just meh for me
i think it's not bcs of him, they addressed this too in the novel where changyu is very reluctant to kill common…
If you see the preview it seems like she went to the battlefield in his stead to keep him safe so of course it was because of his lies that she had to go through all that. She doesn't want to kill but she did for him. Perhaps her little gang followed her to the field and one of them got injured so of course it's Xie Zheng's fault for lying so much
Looking at the previews she should have beat him (Xie Zheng) up pretty hard after all she went through because of his lies. Istg if one of her minions die because of this I'm gonna beat him up myself
Question for novel readers: Is Gongsun not a character in the novel? I am currently in Chapter 29 but he still hasn't been mentioned but the cdrama already had him visited twice by then. Is he not his best friend in the book? 🥲
