I would have studied harder if my male teachers and classmates are all smoking hot like theirs (I was dumbfouned at myself for not instantly recognizing Zach Lu from HIStory2 - Crossing The Line without his glasses).
The story has an interesting synopsis but the director failed to tell a coherent story. The unnecessary jump scare at random points are starting to test my patient while I wait for the actual story-line to make sense and move on.
That family group hug is EVERYTHING. Asian parents don't hug their kids often or say "i love you" to their kids, let alone doing it with step-family, so this group hug is really really special and meant emerging two families as one. 🫂 🤗
30 sec in and I got distracted by "little" Xiao Wang (xiao in Chinese is "little". So, "little" little?😂) and looks like "little" Tian was distracted as well. Best "Jiang Tian's Very moment so far.
Only 1st episode and already filler scenes. Do we need to see the team exploring the city for half the episode?! (it's a rhetorical question.) They barely saved my interest to continue with the last couple of scenes.
Jiang Tian...my boy is whipped. The way the got so concerned about Xiao Wang's mental well being because he saw Wang changed his stauts to complete darkness...that proud look on his face when Xiao Wang declared he'll tare off his schedule...the storytelling is top tier.
Does global examination have step brothers trope? Dropped it halfway, don't remember such dynamics
No, it's not the same trope but the same author, Mu Suli. You mean dropped the novel half-way? The series hasn't come out yet (but confirmed/rumored to be made into series with the guy from Your Name Engraved Herein)
I will never get tired of step/adopted brothers enemy to lovers trope (HIStory2, The Unknown, Stay With Me, etc) ...especially when it is done right. So far, I am enjoying the dynamic. Now, Global Examnination when???😭
