I can't help but compare this to "You're My Sky"...they both have similar ecstatic...campus life, college sports, 3 couples, etc...except that YMS has mostly rookies but they won over my heart. They have exceeded all expectations. I loved it very much. Between Us, however, has a stellar cast but I feel like the story just keeps going in circle and has no sense of clear direction....as if the writers put zero effort into the storytelling and are leaning on the popularity of the show and the SHIPs. They should immediately STOP trying to make Bee and Prince happen because it's not working. and Santa is just there merely as a prop, wasting his talent with a bad wig. lol

the casting was solid... we all were heart broken when we heard the BL ban.

Wow...that was one heck of a party. I've seen this gambling hall set in many Wuxia dramas but this one looks the grandest. WuJie and RuoYi as two welcoming hosts just put a smile on my heart.
I can picture a little bit of XiaoSe in "Shen Yi from Winner is King (if BL adaptations weren't cockblocked by Chinese Censorship Board.)"

im pretty sure his body and soul are still intact. it's way too early for an important character to leave the show before anything major happens. I won't believe he's dead unless his two side strands are even and all white 👴

...which means, when Mum said I will meet you 'tomorrow (Mum's)', Dew already knew he won't show up (due to the accident) because it has already happened yesterday (Dew's).

I am really hoping the series would focus on Part 1 of the book and really highlight the relationship between Khun Yai and Phoe Jom. I felt like the book was rushing to get to Part 2 (I was angry the way they left me hanging on Part 1). I want more of 1930s scenes, more character developments, and more stories of the side characters...because what they've shown in the pilot is pretty much the synopsis part 1 of the book... and let Season 2 be part 2 of the book.

I dig all the OSTs but I am not buying the chemistry between the main CP. ***NO SPARK AT ALL*** Long hair is not it for BoWei... I sorta kinda see the a little spark between the 2nd CP but Mr. Liang's behavior is borderline pervy if you'd ask me.

Ep7: that scene where Uk and Yul called each other's names before Yul went into coma And Uk, the most powerful soul-shifter hunter in the universe, let his wreath have it for JinMu subordinates..."no one's gonna walk out of here alive!"...and nobody did **🤌chef's kiss** (can't wait for those BL tiktok edits ...also Uk vs Crown Prince edits lol)
Ep8: I hate the grand daughter of Yeom all up in other people's personal business. reading someone's private/personal letter is a no no for me. and she has the nerve to throw that potion on BuYeon's face....and she gets no punishment? i'd slap her right on the spot.
Ep1~8: I lost count on the amount of times Master Dang Gu changed his ear danglers...every new scene has a new pair.

They showed Dew was waiting for Mum and didn't show up. And then When Mum apologizes to Dew for NOT showing up the day before, the writers may have forgotten the fact that current date for Dew is Nov 17th and it hasn't happen to him yet...which is Nov 18~20 (Nov 10~13 in Mum's world)...and that makes us, the viewers, confused.

They should really use a different color grading for the flash back scenes because it really threw me off when they showed Dew's birthday scenes and agreed Mint to be his girlfriend.

Tooooooo much Win and Team typical daily activities. Before you know it, there will be scenes like taking a dump in the morning, again in the afternoon, and some random 💩 throughout the day. As much as I love seeing them together, I'd love to see some progress, interesting developments in the storyline.
