Title Teach You a Lesson Spoiler
episode 4 twist I KNEW ITTTT from the original video of the attack i knew it
the boy looking aggravated and upset, everyone taking the teacher's side, the teacher being popular and 'perfect', acting like he didn't know why the student hit him. even the main lead buttering up to him and being a fanboy, it was so clear the teacher was the bad guy

I don’t know if Ji Hye will stick to Jin Woo but I really like them together, but the show initial preview seems…
I doubt it. He's the complete opposite of her type and from the date it doesn't seem like he did anything to be an exception. She even reiterated her point after the catfish came that she's not into soft boys, if she actually liked Jinwoo she would've said something like "but i think some people can change my mind" to show he has a chance.

I appreciate DinDin for kinda calling out the guys actions in the second episode, not that they did anything wrong but stating his opinion realistically. Like when Siwon was looking around for an apron and Dindin said that was doing too much, because realistically he would probably not have done that without cameras. And asking the panelists if Yunso's constant "I like you"s on the second day of knowing someone was too much, bc if I was the recipient of that it'd be a little overboard for me. He keeps it real, I appreciate his input

So i spontaneously binge rewatched it and i have a couple opinions on the way they ended things:
I'm not very satisfied with the way they did Minwoo's 'character development', if you can even call it that. I don't even hate his character much, I somewhat understand where he's coming from as he's the only one out of the rookie three not having family influence backing him and he has the burden of being the breadwinner and caring for his parents. He's a realistic response to how a fellow rookie attorney would react to a rookie attorney like WYW. However, the same way he wants Youngwoo to be punished for her absences and whatnot, I really wished there would've been consequences of Minwoo sending those documents in Youngwoo's name in hope of getting her fired. And in the end, he decided to give up on that and started being cordial to her because he has a crush on her friend..? Because he wants to be a "fool"? His reasoning is so shallow.

I also didn't like Junho's comparison of his affection for Yongwoo being an owner and his cat. That's obviously a very unbalanced dynamic, it would've suited her father saying that because that would fit more. The father, like an owner, raises his cat/child, provides it food, cares for it and gives it a home. A romantic relationship should have both people viewing each other as equals. Other than that though, I think Junho is kinda perfect. Like a green flag through and through that it's slightly unrealistic and makes him a little boring. But who cares, Youngwoo can have a perfect man.

I liked the introduction of Youngwoo's brother, and how they showed that both siblings are very similar in their perfectionism and intelligence. I hope they explore their relationship more in season 2. I also like that they didn't portray Tae Sumi as a bad person for abandoning her child at birth. She was unfortunately in another world from YW's dad, and didn't really have a choice in the matter. She was kind enough to proceed with the pregnancy for him. But I didn't like that she had to step away from running for that position in the end. I know they were hinting at the big news drop at the end, so to satisfy that suspence without revealing YW's identity they had to make TSM step out somehow. I just think it's kinda unfair for her. Why are they using both her children against her? She's not a bad person.

I also think Jung Myeongseok's cancer could've been hinted at a little earlier. It kinda came out of nowhere, we really only got hints of it while he was paranoid about the killer. Unless i don't remember the hints, but i don't recall many scenes where he talks about his stomach being upset or just feeling ill. I could be wrong here.

Anyway, for s2 I hope they expand more on the attorney's backgrounds, especially the other 2 rookies. Also Junho, we know nothing about him other than his sister. I hope they expand on YW's relationship with her brother and mom, and I have a feeling they will reveal the relationship to the public in s2 too. CEO Han may end up being the final 'villain' of the show, the scenes we do have of her do suggest she has that capacity and ruthlessness.

Hopefully they understood the criticism from last season and have less intense age gaps. age gaps are fine but…
More like they didn't know what they were getting themselves into. The show from the start has shown that it's about noonas & younger men, and unknown age gap that was teased for the majority of the show. Obviously there was gonna be big age gaps. At least the s2 contestants seem to be aware of how big the gap could be and are okay with it

I might be wrong but the noonas look younger compared to S1. I think because a lot of people complained about…
They do look younger, but the teaser at the beginning suggests there will be another 12 year gap couple

it wasn't a year ago, the last episode of s1 was released in January 2026
I know, but it was still airing up to Jan 2026. So you still were watching it just a couple months ago

The characters all kinda have the same way of speaking, like with analogies and big stories that explain why they are the way they are. It's kinda like a trademark of the writer because My Liberation Notes was just like that, haven't watched My Mister but by the vibe of it I'm assuming it's also the same. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it does feel a little forced sometimes imo

Love the first two episodes but I'm so worried about the ending that they'll build up the relationship between…
It's implied that she died in the first timeline by poison and her soul was transferred to her current life, so she wouldn't be able to return back. Though i'm not sure what happened to the modern day Seo Ri

It would've been nice if the leads were actually villains of their times as presented in the synopsis, or at least for an episode or two. But instead, the FL actually has a heart of gold and the history books twisted her story, and the ML is a good guy too. Which i'm not surprised by. But it would've been nice, two villains as main characters falling for each other and wreaking more havoc on the world
