Is it a crime to be insecure? Do people who feel insecure not deserve understanding and love? She spent the entire…
My point is simply that people often judge similar behavior differently depending on whether its the male lead or female lead character.
If the male lead character has an emotional outburst or behaves in a controlling or unhealthy way, people are usually much quicker to call him "toxic." Rightfully!! When its the female lead character, I often see people looking for justifications and excuses.
I'm not saying every situation is identical or that context doesn't matter. I just think the standards should be applied consistently, regardless of whether it's the ML or the FL.
If we're talking past each other or you don't see the problem here.. there's probably not much more to add.

Ikr.. it is getting really annoying.. this past 4 years its always the same.. when the ML does it.. ohhh toxic, when the FL does it bunch of excuses.. insane to me.. 😓 It should be called toxic when either does it.. But we find billions of excuses for the FL, every time..
okay, but show us everything.. the other girl getting imprisoned etc... they always fail and cut the revenge part to bare minimum of " we heard she is in prison" and whatnot.. BUT they love to show the tutore of the good guys exesively.. there needs to be a balance..
Must be an asian thing, they CAN'T properly show the punishment of bad guys... neither kdrama, lakorn.. and even cdrama ( probably censorship in china ) .. Need to watch Vincenzo again, rarity... 😔😮💨
Really? You dislike his jealousy? 😂 I actually find it ridiculously adorable. It’s so refreshing to see this…
Because you cant see it from the pov of the ML.. main problem with many people here.. Jealousy can be nasty and detrimental, we ALWAYS get on view.. never the FL Jealousy and how she would feel.. When its the guy.. "ohhh cute" or " insecure.."
Overall, I enjoyed the main couple, even though it was slow burn. Their interactions were always funny. I wish they had made it 24 episodes instead of dragging it out to 36. Still, I would give it 8.5/10, but I fast-forwarded through a lot of 2nd and 3rd couple.
