totally get it, i found it boring at first when the auditing part has begun but i realized it is necessary. as i pay attention more about their motives and such, it keeps getting me more invested as more secrets get revealed. i say we need to be attentive to what they’re doing each episode so we could understand what they’re trying to do.

I don’t get anyone who says their adult track and story are getting too focused on the audit and investigation parts, when in fact it’s necessary to the story. Some say the change is abrupt, but their development has been happening even before the separation. I think people missed the part where Chen Yi said to give him some time with Miao Jing. That clearly shows he’s not ready yet to open a conversation about getting back together because of the work he has with Zhang Bin and his traumatic past. Now that MJ knows all about it, the reason she came back is that she’s there to help him get out of that darkness he’s in. As shown in the recent eps, they’re getting more and more closer again. We all know they obviously love each other, and they always will. It’s just that they’re not ready to open up or clear out their relationship because of the circumstances they’ve been through. People need to understand that. Also, Miao Jing has grown and matured, and she totally knows what she’s doing that’s why she came back for him.

Anybody know how to add this show on letterboxd? just downloadedd this app to ask anyone to do it bcs i only use letterboxd when I critique a show/movie. I am honestly so hooked to this drama. hoping this would be on letterboxd just like never-ending summer so other people could see this too!
