the ML seemed to have a crush on the FL. but she can feel his emotions and witnessed him when his heart was racing & he was blushing when the 2FL(her enemy?) got close to him. kinda seems like he’ll like any woman that gets close to him tbh.
i loved the setup & the beginning, esp their childhood connection. but at this point idk if he’s séxually attracted to the 2FL or what. 😅

it’s mentioned towards the end of ep 7 that he entered the battlefield before the age of 17, and became a general before the age of 20. so i’m assuming he’s around 20 now
and when did the evil concubine who sa'd xihes father die?? i thought she was just kicked out
she conspired with Prince Kang (i think that’s his name) and the emperor sentenced her to death via a white cloth (hanging). the ML uncovered their crimes through the book the FL gave him

in her past life, since she was married to that one prince, did she know the ML?? because they’re brothers.. it seems like she should know him. or at least know of him. but so far (up to ep 5) there’s been flashbacks of her past life with tons of people but none with the ML.

absolutely LOVING this drama so far (i’m on ep 9). -stunning cinematography -great cgi/animated scenes -chemistry is on point from episode one! -the main leads and secondary characters are absolutely beautiful. -i’ve seen dramas where the main characters seem like they don’t even want to be in the same area as the other main character… this drama isn’t like that at ALL. they’re all over each other! plenty of hugs, carrying, hand holding, face caressing, etc (even if it’s fake lmao) spoiler below (that i love 👇🏻)
so excited for this! as well as Love in the Clouds (oct 10), Yummy x3 (oct 9), Blood River (oct 24), and Whispers of Fate (oct 28). historical dramas have my heart i swear 🖤
