It's not officially adapted as a BL because of censorship so I will not judge it on that (but i totally wish there was a real bl version of this series)
This series is so so so much fun! I love the fantasy/historical aspect of this series. The mythology and sword fighting was very cool. I do have to say that i found it hard to stay focused times and I have dropped it many times before picking it up again after a month or so, but that's alright because this series has 50 EPISODES EACH OF 40 MINUTES LONG!!!! WHEW.
I think my second longest drama series i watched was extraordinary you (32 episodes). so. i was seated.

I also loved the ensemble cast of the younger generation from i believe episode 45 onward (Lan sizhui, etc. i forgot their names).

i dont have much to say that others havent already said, so go watch it! it's great!!!
