the last 2 episodes pissed me off soooo bad that i don't even know where to begin but let's start with the worst…
its realistic based on the society in the 80s. You said it yourself, Byeongtae's parents is the one who made him eat all those craps. All he wants is to live a peaceful life and even if he gets beaten, he learned how to receive it. Literally in the second ep he said "don't go around punching someone without reason". He HATES violence for all his life he had received it and he didn't see violence against violence is the answer to his problem.
Ah I forgot to tell everyone that @hyemville on twitter (x) will be doing space after final episodes to talk about boyhood overall, anyone is free to join! if you have some things you wanna share (complains, praises, etc) please do join the space!
I think Seonhwa's back story will be explained fully next week. Her reasoning for chosing Gyeongtae is messed up and I reckon there's also a motivation behind that. I do agree and believe that Seonhwa came from a poor family. I suspect that her parents might actually be a scammer, pretending to be a shaman but actually not and they came from Seoul because they ran awau from the cops? And she wants to climb the social ladder by using her beauty hence the obsession with looking prettier with Gyeongtae. It's not justifiable, of course, but now at least we get to know why Seonhwa being like that. I also think that Gyeongtae will leave Seonhwa if he finds out lol since he does not look like he loves Seonhwa that way, but he looks at her like she's his possession. So good luck girl. You reap what you sow lol.
Oh, Kang Hyewon actually said there's a possibility for season 2. Although its not confirmed, but she was hoping for one because she wants to explore Seonhwa's character and see her growth.
This drama is currently very famous in South Korea so we might actually get a second season. Let's pray for it to happen!
yup its been circulating among kfans the intl viewers can watch it on prime and a lot of us agreed as well bcs reflecting from "Anna" it was released in June in South Korea but it was released in August globally in Prime so we suspect the rumor is true and we will most likely get to watch it legally in January 2024 or February 2024
this is such a classic drama that I would go back and watch again and again. No matter how I find ut cringe everytime I rewatch it, I would still love it all the same!
once again reminding everyone that hitv is illegal, the subscription fee is only to keep the site alive. they're pirating coupang play hence why the sub sucks bcs it is the subtitle that was provided by coupang play. if its an official legal platform, they will have better subs which is what happening rn the official platform is most likely subbing everything before releasing. and rumor has it prime will be the one releasing it officially and legally
people who rated it lowly that it caused a drop in rating...y'all boring??? whats so bad about ep6? the drastic change? but gyeongtae has always been like that even before he lost memory so why are y'all surprised that he just turned into what he always has been like 😭😭😭
Cheng Xiao's fans (weibo) said studio cx already confirmed that it was 🍉 fake🤷🏻♀️
I know, the fans I asked are from China who speaks english. They already asked CX Bar which is the official fanbase who always gets informed by CX team about her schedule, CX Bar said they never heard of it and CX team does not confirm anything after being asked. Anyway as I said it seems to be unlikely though since none said anything 😁
