SO BAD

I was looking forward to this sequel because I loved Season 1 but this drama was GARBAGE!!! Each episode I kept waiting for something interesting to happen but NOTHING DID. So anticlimactic and boring. I guess this was such a disappointment because I expected to be as good as the first season but it was as if the writers had no real plot in mind and they just created a sequel to reuse the same characters... Super unsatisfying watch that I ended up dropping it. This drama was a flop for me also because I thought if I waited long enough it’d be worth it to see my ship couple get together but they didn’t!! I suppose you might enjoy this drama depending on who you want the FL to get with? But even so, the romance storyline is pretty bland.

simple but engaging

This mini-series is the definition of short and sweet. I loved every bit of it. Sure the storyline is simple and has been done many times before (friends to lovers trope), but the relationship dynamic was beautifully executed. This drama turned a cliché plot into something that felt real and touching. The pace was also perfect -- there weren't fillers or scenes that dragged on for too long. The cast definitely made this series worth-watching! Park Hyung Sik and Han So Hee are excellent at their craft and have great chemistry!!

female lead poorly written and can't act

Okay, I know I only watched one episode all the way through, but this drama gave me nothing. Episode 1 didn't plant a single seed that convinced me of it having a WOW factor. The pace is slow, plot is whatever, characters are bland, and the female lead Oh Soo Jae was in almost every scene, making it hard to watch. I skipped a few episodes forward and nothing seems to have changed (except for that there's less Soo Jae scenes, and they're instead replaced by scenes of other boring characters).

Also, this drama is a NON-example of how a strong female lead character should be written. Her Bad B energy was refreshing at first but the impact wore off when all of her scenes had her showing off how alpha she was. Personally didn't care for the female lead's acting either. I get that she's trying to act cold and proud to fit her character but the way she delivered her lines was overly stoic and reminded me of an AI talking.
