Her husband finally accepted that he's gay thanks to HS sister's support, and they finally ended their relationship since HS sister told him initially she'd stay to help until he accepts himself. I think it is a bittersweet ending for them, sweet since it seems like they'll probably remain as support systems for each other and for their daughter and bitter since the romantic aspect of their relationship is over.
