just one word. wow
I rarely write reviews but after finishing this I have a lot to say.the only reason I didn't give this a 10 is that I would never rewatch because it was too emotional for me. the amount of times I cried man.
as a student this was a hard yet amazing watch. it was very unrelatable yet relatable show in different ways.
the actors and actresses did an amazing job. there were amazing character developments, relationships, friendships, heartbreaks.
I think this is worth watching especially for those who watched dead poets society!

the ending was dissapointing
i'm a bit dissapointed. the first too episodes i wasnt super invested but still wanted keep watching and until the 14ish episode i actually enjoyed it a lot. but the ending totally ruined it for me. i didn't like that the daughter and older hee do were included. i don't think that it was needed and it spoiled things too much. main leads had great chemistry and all but the age gap still felt iffy to me. and the ending didn't really make sense? i feel like the female lead was too strong and willing to not give up on anything in life to just break up like that? we didn't get enough happy moments or enough bad moments for it to break off so soon just because of their work. their relationship developed so slowly however they ended everything so soon. people that made this really decided to play w the audience's emotions. a harsh break up. meeting again to make up? but it actually turned out to be a break up again? how was going to russia not an obstacle for the 2nd lead couple then? i knew that it won't have a happy ending however i felt like the ending was way more dissapointing than it could've been. if they really wanted to go w a daughter reading her mom's diary it could've easily been about her parents and not her mom's first love which would've made a happy ending. a sad ending could've worked too if made better. i still rated the overall rating pretty high even tho it was dissapointing but i liked it too much to rate it low.Was this review helpful to you?
definitely worth watching
although the story may be pretty cliche it was executed well. the whole historical aspect was for sure really needed. there were cringy parts that made me close my eyes from embarrassment but all the characters were really charming especially the three ghosts. the chemistry between main leads was good enough in my opinion and it definitely made sense for a slower pace romance since FL was in love w someone else.I think that the casting was great and I genuinely loved most characters but also truly hated the antagonists of the story.
The osts were really fun and nice to hear however not something I'd add in my playlist like w other osts.
I rarely if ever rewatch kdramas but I do think that I'd watch this one after a few years.
It isn't a perfect kdrama but from what I heard it had low budget and no promotion however didn't seem like a low quality show. it's a great watch while doing something else maybe you won't be glued to the screen but u'll surely pause what you're doing to watch some scenes or even replay them.

I'm very dissapointed
I was VERY excited to watch this for several reasons. Lee Jong Suk was in it, it was about law and this kdrama is the only one that had so many good reviews on this app, I pretty much only saw 9 or 10. And when I started it, it was pretty good however with every episode my motivation to finish it kept disappearing so I dropped it.For the story - it was nothing special, I've watched a few shoes involving law and that aspect was definitely very weak in I hear your Voice. The antagonist was importing for the plot but he was in every damn episode so it got so damn boring. I'm not sure what the creators were going for it had thriller, fantasy, law, romance, comedy? it tried to have everything but kinda didn't have anything at all. Now for the romance....I hated it. I didn't want the female lead to end up with neither of them. I mean one of them was a high schooler and the other was a very annoying and childish attorney.
Acting/Casting was pretty good I always love seeing familiar faces in older kdramas but I wouldn't say that the acting was something spectacular. Also I loved the side characters way more than the main ones however it wasn't really worth it to keep watching just for some characters that appear rarely.
For music - it was pretty good but like nothing special that stands out.
For rewatching - If i could give it a 0 I would but I cant so i'll give it a 1. I'm definitely not rewatching this ever again however there's a low chance that I will finish it someday but I doubt it.
