Wow, great review! Despite the fact that I personally didn't enjoy the drama as much as I did the novel, your in depth take on the differences between the two makes me see the drama in a new light. I now appreciate it much more for what it is. And you’re right! Some of the changes made really do add to the logicality and plot overall. Although my opinion is that he treated her differently in the novel due to how they got along and their first impressions of each other. At first maybe she was amusing and her odd thought process was intriguing, while he was arrogant, unapproachable, and sharp-tongued. But they both learned to enjoy each other’s company on the slopes and during the process learned to appreciate each other for who they are, giving them the confidence to face the issues in their own lives.
