I would prefer Teddy over Colton Choi because I think Teddy contributed to the story more than Colton. I love the whole Teddy villain arc with the smashed Cola and the trauma he has after that LOL

I can roughly guess why it’s being banned internationally now. There are major changes from this adaptation (Yes, I’ve read the manga). The Japanese stick quite close to the manga while Thai one makes changes such as Achi is being supported at work instead of bullying, Karan is not good at singing, seem like Min is the one that likes Jinta first while Tsuge actually likes Minato first and I think we will get more as the drama progress. I mean I enjoy the changes equally because it gives fresh air and unpredictale situations. It’s just that they change almost everything and just borrow the magic idea. You know the Japanese gatekeeping and possessive of their works, probably why they denied airing internationally for this drama. But that’s just my opinion

I know they use nippon so emphasize on their nationality and I know its meaning. But in this drama it’s basically overused in every situation. I mean it’s understandable in a more serious setting but in the daily dally basic conversations also? Really? What’s there to emphasize between fellow Japanese? I’m not asking for the meaning of “nippon” but I’m asking for their purposes to over emphasizing on the word and just basically make it so annoy. I was fine for the first episode but it started getting on my nerve so I dropped.

Most likely GMM fucked this up because I know this is NOT their first time. The Japanese plays by rules. If you have everything in the paper, they cannot fking deny it as preaching the contract can be legally put it up on the international court. If they plays by the rules in the contract, who in the world can force them take off their episodes on youtube? They must do some sketchy shjt to be forced to this extent

Exactly, legal or not, some people still watch it illegally anyway. That’s why GMM needs to taking care of the copyright first to reap the benefits legally as much as possible from the international fans to support the cast. I don’t know what kind of message they are trying to convey by making everyone on the show saying nippon instead of nihon but that hella annoyed me. I speak intermediate Japanese so I kinda caught on most of the conversation in the show. The nippon irritated me so much that I’m now straight up mad bruh. Also I think they did intentionally pronoune nippon stronger and longer. The intonation around normal convos is okay but they get heavy when they pronoun nippon like bruh tf
