Not everything has to be about romance. If you know that you don't like this type of genre then why bother posting this. Go find a romance drama to watch instead. My royal nemesis is a romance and is airing now, watch that instead of complaining that a family battle drama has no romance.

It's not the fact that the show is anti-gay, it's just that some of the side characters are, which is realistic because not everyone is accepting of the LGBT community. It's not like in BL land where being gay is the norm and everyone is accepting because that's just not how it works in real life. The main character, her best friend, the teacher and others are fine with it and the show is framing them as the 'good guys'. The drama itself isn't anti-gay just some of the characters are, so to tell BL fans not to watch it because of some homophobia is a bit extreme as I'm sure there are homophobic characters in other BL's.

i’ve seen 8 eps of it so far, does it get worse?

i’ve seen the first 2 eps but put it on hold. is the ending good? is it worth finishing? i don’t mind if it’s a happy or sad ending just as long as it’s not underwhelming or just plain bad like the s line ending

if you’re looking for a lighthearted romcom which slightly touches on some serious issues with a bit of drama then this is for you. this show is something you’d watch if you just want to switch your brain off and watch something amusing. the plot isn’t very complex and some of the characters are one dimensional and haven’t been properly developed. in short it’s not great but it’s not bad. since you have a long list of dramas to watch, i’d say watch them first and maybe come back to this if you’re really bored and want to watch something light to pass the time.
