The first episode of this drama is indeed slow and this might not be the best drama to be watched in this era,…
Well everybody is different. I've been in a Korean drama slump lately because I can't stand their romance dramas and that seems to be the only thing theonly kind of dramas out there. Since I barely watch Chinese or Japanese dramas I've dropped more Japanese dramas than I've fully completed so yeah, everybody's different.
One of the reasons why I really don't care for Japanese dramas is one: the flow of the episodes...I just watched the first episode of this and I don't know if I want to watch the rest. It was slow. There were no character connections and the music-as always is too upbeat for a supposed murder. It also drowns out a lot of the dialogue. EVERY Japanese drama that I tried to watch has this issue. I guess this is Japan's schtick for their dramas. I went back to look and didn't realize this was done in 1997!!! Netflix has this on their site so I thought this was recent. I can't believe after all these years Japan still do their dramas like this!!
While I'm trying to go out of my element of Korean dramas, Japanese and Chinese dramas makes me want to stick with the Korean dramas for some odd reason.
Not a fan of Jung Sung II b/c he always plays the bad guy plus his one dimensional facial expression is annoying. I like Kim Rae Won because of The First Responders series so I'm torn.
When I heard that there was going to be a season 2 Taxi Driver I waited till it aired and watched season 1 over. I was so glad that I did that because it seemed like it literally picked up from where it left off sans the bad guys being dealt with. So I went into season 2 refreshed from season 1. Now that season 3 is coming I guess I'm gonna have to watch season 1 & 2 again, hehe. Season 1 is the first Kdrama I ever watched more than once. I can't wait for next month!
Good lord no! Both seasons worked w/o the romance factor. Why ruin it??
Just because she admitted 'something' that doesn't mean a romance arc should happen. It's not worth it. Cliche romances kill EVERYTHING! Why ruin something it if it's working?!
As many Korean actors who have been in trouble for DUI offenses, I'm afraid he's going to be another statistic. I hope he can stay off the media websites and ignore the negative press that's going to come his way. He need to go somewhere where he won't be scrutinized for his mistake. Korea is known for it's bullying tactics and you would think that the amount of people who have done the unthinkable because of the bullying would stop but it won't. People who bully other people are weak individuals who like to take their hurt out on people who have nothing to do with their misery and if you're not strong enough.....well...stay strong young man. Your life depends on it.
This drama isn't too bad. It's got a lot of Korean actors who I had no idea could speak English in it!! Kim didn't look too good with the fighting most likely due to age and the fighting kind of diminished close to the end of the series.
The trailer had all the good parts in it. The rest was just talking. It went off like it was going to be to be continued so we'll see.
Man...being human really suck in Korea. I've seen several dramas with this guy and even though he always plays the bad guy I'm sorry he took his own life over something such as a DUI. People in Korea need to get over themselves and stop being online bullies! Too bad they can't go after those who causes people to lose their lives like they do over here.
Just like I did when Taxi season 2 came out, I went back and watched season 1 to recap. So when season 3 come out I will go back and watch season 1 & 2 again to recap....hehehe.
I'm so exited that the original cast will be back. I just hope Jin & Ram won't play like they're idiots in season 3. I wasn't a fond of their character choices in season 2.
One of my new favorite Korean actors. I didn't know he existed until I saw Fiery Priest. Love love love that drama! The first one anyway. I couldn't bring myself to watch season 2 because of the not so good reviews. I can't write happy birthday on here in Korean because I don't have that downloaded but here's the pasted version, lol: 생일 축하합니다!
If there's a lot of fighting and no romance then I'm there! I think I mentioned a thousand times that I only watch Kdramas because of those mad fighting skills!
If only he didn't have the same wooden facial expression in everything he plays in then I would be for it. Trying to get through Mercy For No One. It's taken me two weeks to get to episode 4.
I started watching Korean dramas right around this time in 2020 in which I've come to enjoy. I've seen Mr. Woo in a lot of the dramas I've been watching over those years. Even though he played the bad guy a lot he was always a great actor. I hate to see that he's passed away. RIP, Mr. Choi Jung Woo. You will be greatly missed.
Question: The guy with the glasses who turned out to be a a** in the first season...did he die?? I don't remember him dying in the last episode of season 1. The reason I'm asking is because the MML kept having dreams in black & white was sitting in the boxing ring which I'm guessing is from season one and he was visited by his best friend-not naming names-and the guy with the glasses.
