Or he could communicate and tell her... That's one thing I really dislike about some dramas, I get why it's in there, but it's not a desirable quality.

For me it's because it's similar to Itazura na Kiss, but improved IMHO. You see the growth of them from their teenage years to adulthood. While it still has it's undesirable elements. it's a slice of life from two different personalities that find a way to be together.

Not sure why they paired her with Jeremy. He's been acting since before 2007, she was born in 2000!!!
With that said, I like both of them, but they are very mis-matched.

As many have already said she was from the Tiger Clan. I wanted to add though, that there are shields where unlocking from outside is easier than trying to break out. She didn't care about about anything like that because she was going to "kill him".
