exactly -- i love that she didn't always run off with ML on her missions -- they had their own separate squads but always found their way back to each other

and they made natural mistakes for non-military citizens

let's be reall- most men fall for their attractive female friend -- its just a little crush --- im glad her story isnt just about her n ML rescuing everyone --- she has her own lil squad !!!!

all he gives are a few snide remarks -- which i think holds true to his character from the beginning --- even though he is no longer a bully its natural that his snide and rebellious ways peek through now and again--- he doesnt hv to like her man but he doesnt do anything to hurt or stop them

they tried to make her a puppet -- but she played both of them in their faces doh --- she was never under anyone's control and only fought to help the people --- it wasnt a story about a trained general -- but an uneducated brute yet kind female character
