Not a christian so i dont know the meaning behind the scriptures and shepherd but I thought them following the shepherd was a way to show that the people were sheep, following blindly. I thought that they were mocking blind following and not Christianity in specific, they just happened to pick it

What I liked:
The ordinary people did not know that they were saved from a devastating event. This is a concept of hero that is super rare to find, where the heroes do not get the credit nor anyone knows that there are heroes to begin with.
About religion, we always see the blindly devoted, agnostic and atheists everywhere but this drama was the first where someone believes that there is god but that does not mean that the god will save them or want good things for them.

What could have been better:
Motives for the doctor with the god complex and the people with powers that follow him. They mention that the doctor was the one who accepted them when no one did but few episodes could have been added to show some backstory for the characters. The motives for the doctor are still vague. He researched for the sake of staying young/healthy for life. "The eternal heart" as he called it but did he want that for himself or did he have even bigger goals?

Nitpick:
Everyone's power are straight forward but Ro Bin's is unique. There is no way that they would give a detailed explanation for Ro Bin's power but when he faced off against gravity of Pal Ho, he was protected by invisible aura. They even show flashback of Chae Ni saying that Ro Bin has aura of protection around him. Even if they did not explain it, I wanted to see it be used more in the later episodes.

Really loved the drama, serious plot but the scenes are super funny. So many scenes where something extremely funny is going on in the background. 9/10

Wanted to watch some light hearted drama and started watching this because I read somewhere that it was not a serious drama and for the first 2-3 episodes, it was serious for my taste but after that there were serious moments but almost every episode ended in a light heart note. The serious moments did not last too long and when I thought it was about to get too serious, they would somehow manage to make it light hearted. Lots of funny moments throughout the show. Definitely worth a watch if you dont mind surgery/blood scenes.

Felt like ending could have been better. The speech from the doctor was good but we never seen him in the show before, so I really couldnt feel the impact, The love relationships could have been a bit more closely wrapped up even if they wanted to leave it as open ending.

Also have to say Go Youn Jung is one of the most dynamic actress ever. So many dramas and such different roles in each one of them yet she plays the characters so perfectly

The best portrayal was Eun A when she decided she will not be weak and stands up for herself and when situations like that arose again, she fell back into her trauma again, and standing up for herself again when a situation arose. It felt real. People can want change but just because they stood up for what they want once, doesnt mean they can stand up for it again. It is a choice they have to keep making everytime they encounter a similar experience

One of the best portrayal of real life in a drama ever. All the actors portrayed whatever they were feeling so well. The struggles of people that comes with their respective jobs, from their relationships, from wounds in the past, all done so well.

The moment there is breathing room in episode 34/35 you know who is going to die. They used all the possible cliches to make sure the viewer knows 100% that this character is for sure going to die lmao

From episode 1 to 36, there is no place to breathe. Someone always plotting something, somethings always going on, someones plan always in motion. If you enjoy this type of 'always something might happen' emotion, you will like it for sure.

Like I said, I would not have problem if the one enjoying was satan but they introduced her as death, not satan.

Also the synopsis couldn't be more inaccurate lol

Really amazing drama of living in the moment. Loved Go Youn Jung's acting as both Cha Mu Hui and Do Ra mi. She has insane dynamic as an actress from stoic in Alchemy of Souls 1, cheerful in Alchemy of Souls 2, hopeful and optimistic in Moving and played the role of insecure Cha Mu Hui and the boldness of Do Ra Mi in this drama with such amazing conviction.

Also I loved the fact that they managed to make the side character (Young U and Sin Ji) fall in love so naturally. Young U was the character who brought food for the staff before Sin Ji was involved and it naturally led to him finding out about Sin Ji and them getting to know each other. This was unlike many other dramas where after two MC fall in love and side characters are left, they would force the side character into love in the last episode.
Most of the 16 episode dramas would always feel like 12 episodes would be enough for them, where the last 4 episodes are forced to meet the 16 episode mark but for this drama i wished it was 16 episodes instead of 12 because I would have loved to see Cha Mu Hui interact with her mother and some more backstory for Ho Jin, Hiro, Young U and Sin Ji.

Would have been 10/10 if it was not for the personality of Death. The thing I did not like was that the personification of death seemed to enjoy the suffering of atleast our main character, No matter how I much I imagine death personify as human, I cannot imagine death taking enjoyment in anything. In my opinion, death not only signifies the loss of life but also all the emotions and possibility of future that comes with it. It would have made the expression justifiable if it was not death but god of hell or god itself so that I could imagine them enjoy punishing someone for all the hurt that they have caused but with death itself, no chance. I wanted to give a 9.5 but the idea of death enjoying the suffering of the MC repulsed me so much that i gave it 9.

This is the most unique drama I have ever watched in terms of theme/concept. It had incredible perspective on life and death. Would recommend. 9/10.

Absolutely awesome drama. Love how the storyline progressed and how well the story was written. Good balance between romance, politics and angst for my taste. Loved the FMC, her smile was contagious and she is no pushover. Probably will read the webnovel as well.

Tiger tally: During the meeting Wei Yan said to the prince to overthrow the emperor because emperor at that time was bad but the prince says no. Li Qing reveals this conversation to emperor and the emperor gets paranoid. At war, Wei Yan gives Wei Qilin the tiger tally knowing that wei qilin would be framed. Wei qilin shows it to the emperor and asks for the reinforcement but the emperor says that it is a fake one. At this point the emperor had already forged a letter by Wei Yan's lover who was in the royal harem and asked Wei Yan to bring the troops to the capital. Wei Yan takes the army back to capital but learns that she didnt write the letter. Due to this, the prince and Xie zheng's dad die in the battle. Because Wei Qilin couldnt go without the reinforcement, the grain cannot reach the front lines and 100000 people die and Wei qilin is branded a traitor. This connects to the capital where the castle is burning, burned by the emperor. The emperor wanted to get rid of the records of tiger tally so that if someone brings the real thing in the future, there would be no evidence. In the present, the only one that knew about the truth was Wei qilin so Wei Yan ordered his men to kill Wei qilin and his wife along with his daughters.

Xie Zheng's mom: Xie Zheng's dad wrote to Xie Zheng's mom that they asked reinforcement from Wei Yan (her own brother) but he refused. As it was her own brother, she could not choose to expose Wei Yan or get justice for her husband. She wrote a letter to Wei Yan hoping that this incident would make him take the right path in the future but because of the guilt, he never looked at the box so he never found the letter.

Qi min's mom: Wei Yan staged a coup to kill the actual heir Qi min so that he could put someone he could control in the power. The only way Qi min's mom thought that she could save her son was to burn herself and her son's face so that they wouldnt recognize the son and thought they had both been burned alive.

Wei Yan was a good guy but due to some unfortunate circumstances, he choose to do wrong things so that he could survive. In his mind, if he survives, he would be able to make Yin a stable nation.

The hospital scenes specially in the ICU, as someone who has visited people in ICU, the wearing gowns, mask and the hospital clothes are so accurate. Most dramas just show the characters entering and exiting the icu without any care in the world but this drama did that very well.
The emotions, people struggling internally, decisions they make throughout the series involving the emotions.
The detective scenes are so well put together. As the detectives solve the case, you are shown what happened in the crime scene but the actors act according to the information that the police currently have and as they get more evidence and information, the same crime scene actors play it out but with different dialogues. It is really well done and I have only seen Stranger and this drama show it like this.
