Let me give you an overview, it could help. It is a bit different as in, there are the leads, then there are all other supporting characters. There is no traditional SML or SFL. But all the supporting characters have a lot of screen time. You can spend the first 10 or so episodes to get to know them as all of them are connected, and then you can FF their personal scenes without losing much.

This show has a lot of business jargon but I suggest not to FF those, as it's core to the show along the with journey of the leads. It has one of the best endings, Queen of Tears like, but much more earned.

The subs are atrocious yea. I agree. They did say and imply, like early on during the show, the FL goes to lunch and one of her lunch buddies works under the ML, so ML found her through that wechat group. Also this happens in a frame or two.

Pay attention to the dialogues as it's a conversation heavy series, you will get your answers. FL's sister met the ML through her circle as he is a popular playboy and eligible bachelor. While FL was added by the ML from a group chat of work circle too.

Nana was rather stoic in this one, and I guess it is the direction. She's a decent actress.

Pretty good crime show with a very sweet romance. It's not steamy but quite tender, reminds me of Forever and Ever. Just keep in mind that it's not your typical linear romance, and quite complex.

Not necessarily. You can see it as, a portion of real life heroes like honest hardworking cops, front line workers like firefighters docs nurses etc often have troubled personal lives. It's a choice they have made, a sacrifice they fully are aware of. SML made a choice. I did feel bad for the guy, but I can't really hate his ex. She felt guilty for believing his lies which she did not have to whatsoever.
