Getting into literal life altering ordeal, swapping souls, what people think of you in your absence, changes a man..and let's that person see what truly matters. His uncorrupted daughter, trusted loved ones and confidantes. He can't afford to be cold or calculating here.

While it is weird, this type of show will be incomplete without this trope.

It is really not. You can however say, it can shock people at first but reading it twice, they would understand. Like really, adding 'the actor' and 'the actress' makes any difference ? If people perceive it your way, they would think they are married but the wife is an actor too, like him.

Episodes 8-9 ish. The ML is trying to beat a murder rap, while the whole country is against him aside from the FL, so amidst the chaos he slowly falls for her. Chemistry is alright, I wouldn't say it's sizzling.

I never liked the 2nd ML, he takes interest in the FL just because Shuai was interested in her, and later falls for her. I was however enjoying his redemption arc up until the writers decided to ruin everything just because they were high.

Not sure if you finished the show, but ML gets a lot better. And yea, there's a price he pays for underestimating the FL, and by the end their power dynamic balances out.

I think modern fluff Cdramas have come a long way in the last couple of years. Sheesh. Even a show from 4-5 years ago seems very aged now.

It has some similarities to cha cha but also very different in some ways.

About time Won Bin got more lead roles. She's delightful and was one of the few saving graces of Sold out on you.
