It’s literally a drama poster not a profile photo of just him whats there to be scared of? Also you cant use…
Nahhh Im sorry but it feels way too personal on different levels. There are many clickbair posts on many asian drama focused sites. This article might not feel that bad for you BUT when they cont to use their real life names to talk about how characters' kiss each other OR cheat on each other OR do more personal stuff like that, it takes on whole another level.
***whispers*** that's how the writer lures you in to read the article, it's clickbait.
Yeah I agree with your point! I mean IF this kind of title was on allkpop or magazine(kinda) part of soompi forums it might feel a bit usual? but when its from drama site/forums it feels wrong to me...
gee I was scared there for a second when I read the title!! Sometimes I really wish people use characters' names instead of actors for this kind of posts.
Park Eun Bin looks great in new released photos. Its been a while to check romance+horror from Skorea.I would love to have expectations but Im scared to. The last time I really enjoyed this kinda genre it was Master's Sun! demn time flies...
I am with you on the ML from the novel. I can't seem to find someone to vent to about him. I couldn't stand him…
so glad to not alone in thisss! I usually drop that kind of toxic novels we already have real life problems enough as it is but I dont know how I couldnt drop this one. This poor girl suffered so much and author clearly enjoyed doing that to her. I dont know much about this author but she or he was clearly biased towards male lead and had some kinks about romanticizing abuse...
Able to complete it because I like many people in casting both from younger gen and veterans. Im not pleased the way they use same actress for both her character and her mother. Editing and time marks messed up in my opinion. At most times change is sudden and I had to make myself remember Im watching the mother in past OR Im watching her daughter in present times. They didnt even add her any make up to make her look like a mother or a bit older ffs. Only thing helped was ZYT is really good with this kind of roles. Also other veterans in casting.
Writing was decent but Im not impressed by their messed up family years. Thats why I wasnt that affected when they made progress so many years later on when they aged. Her childhood was wasted I felt sincerely sorry for her because I relate to having that kinda parent(s).All those years went away and shaped who you are already even if you made peace with it its not because you have/had any choice but life happens nd you accept it years later... its just how it goes what can you do sometimes.. Also having a baby in late years' plot was hard to accept?feel easy? for me. Thats really not fair to the child. It wasnt even her first child... YET I was glad that they didnt go hollywood routine 'lets kill the baby its just fetus right now anyway' even if it would ve been easy(!!) way in these tv series...
ps. I wish I had chance to watch ZYT and HDJ as lead pairing in another drama modern or costume... Their chemistry was really something I enjoyed in this.
Been holding onto this one and gave enough chances. Its not for me even tho I really liked costumes on leads and its kinda rich with fantasy genre characters also edits...
Its veryyyyy rare to find a Cdrama which dare to break the rules for plot, casting or cliches. When you find one you ve got to check it, this was one of them. Very lighthearted, nothing intense.Something to enjoy at side tab when you do ur work or eat your meals. YET I lost interest after 15eps. There wasnt enough friendship or romance or family focused scenes at all. Thats why I couldnt really care for any of characters. Kinda flat or should I say dull?!
ps. Darn I know its against everything this drama was about BUT Song Yi and Dai Xiang Yu could have made a hot pairing if this was a different genre or story...
THAT LAST PART WHERE SHE WAS THERE FOR HIM AND HIS COMMENT ABOUT DEBT ALSO HONEYMOON MONEY X'D that part only was enough to make this worthy in my book!
I didnt realize how much Ive missed watching Zhang Xin Cheng. Charming actor who has same talent as theatrical actors. Sun Qian is also eeasy on eyes I just wish she gets better roles than she had in past...
Usually Im not good with movies because its very short and I always want to connect with characters, where they come from, how they felt, what were the reasons, how they progress (esp)emotionally while going through life etr. Movies hardly cover those feelings for me but I take my chances at times. Actually I was interested in novel of this, its from same author of Unrequited Love novel/drama. Yet didnt had time to sit and read so I watched the movie on side tab instead. I trust leads esp. him! worthy to check for sure. Whenever his characters falls for lead girls I end up falling the way he loves them through his gazes and little gestures or smiles *le sigh I dont regret it. Very cliche plot which I make sure to check whenever I came upon lol Not giving it a higher point because leads werent on screen as much as I hoped for with this kinda chemistry between their characters...
Didnt worth my time even if I finished with speed watching. Not enough focus on characters' emotional progress or personal growth. It was like %90 work place with ungrateful scums with lil bit of decent characters. I know its work place but was it so hard to create memorable and nice or interesting and fun moments in between all serious chaotic moments?! Was there for the casting and stayed until the end for them so that I could close this story/characters in my brain.. I just wanted to be done with it. Only made me miss my other fave workplace romance slice of life dramas like: The first half of My Life and Rising Lady, now I need some rewatch.
Nothing against Gao Zhi Ting s acting but he just doesnt have 'lead aura'. Whenever I end up watching this guy giving his all at acting he still just doesnt have it TT When I saw him in cast, I can already know about his character without reading info! He might try to take different roles for a while at least in these genre dramas... Been waiting for new Seven Tang drama for a very long time so I was quite excited for this one.I could see and feel she was impressed/affected by her character in emotional parts.Especially at family matter scenes.Very heartfelt crying scenes she didnt disappoint me once again. I thought I would be interested in some side characters but it didnt happen. The way they tried to portray old times relationship matters wasnt that likable in my opinion. The way guy was liking lead girl but then end up with other girl just after a while and girls were sitting around table as if everything was just normal simple thing... thats just felt makjang instead of mature slice of life drama for me..the way they told the story or progress didnt sit well with me I guess. edit: done by ep15. not worth my time maybe it worth for others...
Its been a while to watch such a stiff face acting! I thought lead actress was a robot AI herself good grief. I dont know what procedures she did to her face but its just sad really so young too!
I mean I would love it IF they can manage to focus on ACTING and SCRIPT WRITING instead of heavy filters and beauty/visuals... That would be so much better but who am I to say such things anyway...
