honestly exceeded my expectations
decently produced, business sabotage storyline was not overbearing, overall light and characters made reasonable decisions
the funnest character was Mr.He...what a wild card, kept me on my toes
I'm glad I watched this (this isn't to say there are no cliches though...its unavoidable in a 40+ ep drama)

Ep 3 of Provoke a Possessive Boss aligns with Ep 5 of the original (of 42 eps)
So you have to watch up eps 1-4 without subs on the CN channel and then look up the alternate title to get eng subs from ep 5 - 42
no idea why CN Drama doesn't have eng subs for this drama anymore :/ seemed like it did before

I'm enjoying it so far too (I'm just saying I can see if some people don't like that comedy)! Just sad that there's only two days of release each week :/

i also feel like the comedy they have...might not be everyone's taste. Sometimes kinda lame, sometimes only understood with cultural background, sometimes just quirky.

I think it's ok
the comedy is the ML and FL interactions (not the justice...although I do have to say that while there is a good chunk spent on justice/"lawyering", I feel like it does kindof feel like a hollywood portrayal of "lawyering", rather than a realistic feel. It's good that cases move fast, but it contrasts with the usual asian drama expectation of going in deep to each case.

Actually kindof interesting....its like a compromise of western shows that have single-episode plots (and possibly long-term plots) and asian dramas that have one (maybe no more than 3 or 4) plots and usually one long-term plot. Instead, in this drama, each case usually lasts 2 or 3 episodes and there's the long term plot of LiangLiang's mysterious dad. I've always wondered how an asian drama would do with a more western show pacing...this is probably what it feels like.

also we weren't promised romance from the synopsis....so I don't even know there is in the end (although I thought there might've been a start in...was it ep 12 or so?)

I was getting kinda bored of it after the first few eps...but I persisted on bc of the comments
it was a nice watch....a funny youth drama without being too sappy (no basic beach scene...you get the gist). Good ending too

same. I rate it 8/10 too. It was cute!

ughhh this overarching mystery of who is LiangLiang's dad (I think probs that sus person they introduced in ep 9 or so)
this better get a good explanation. what could the story be???

how he and FL slept in same bed bc there was only one room left and no extra blankets in motel and he slept well (no sleep walking or pills) and the next day he slept in a bit...and he was thinking how it must be bc of FL that he could sleep
but he was sick?? also he doesn't sleepwalk every night??

I was thinking the same thing! like how is he going from making the next fashion line plus-sized and then talking about how FL has a belly (although to give context, he was trying to make the point to FL that there's no way he would like FL bc he's seen better bodies than hers)

There are other things in this drama that don't exactly line up too (ep 10...I'll put in another spoiler below)

the pacing/storyline really feels like a basic 24 (maybe max 32) ep rom-com...I'm on ep 10 now...wonder how they are going to extend it to 43

ooof that auto-generated subs "[did he just] turn off [his] cell phone" became "switch off an electrical device" LOL

ohh I see I didn't even realize the music industry was a significant part of the story
just got so confused when people said leads are adults but its a youth drama LOL

does the ML find out that FL is not actually a robot early on? and how did he find out?
