I am not Asian but personally even though he is underage ( which is wrong because he should be at least 18 to have that sort of relationship) I find the TV show extremely well made. I loved the dialogues, the cinematography, and the plot. I don't find a difference of 17 years that much but as I already said he should have been an adult. Age is not important and the director showed how well they suited each other. The FL was not mature enough and the ML was the other missing half. The boyfriend she had at the beginning did not respect her or loved her at all. He was just comfortable with her and was using her for sex. She did not have a future with him at all. Her previous bf cheated on her so he was out of the picture as well. It is great that they showed they will be back together when he is obviously an adult and will be able to handle mature relationship and responsibility properly :) Since you were complaining about the fact that he is just a boy let me recommend you something very well made again with an age gap between adults. It's called Second Virgin and it is again a Japanese Tv show.
I mean I agree to a certain extent cause I was really expecting a good mafia criminal drama but it turned out…
Hey, glad we somewhat share the same view on this. I was really hoping for a really good serious crime/mafia tv show but obviously this is not what we are getting :D ANyways, I decided to watch it till the end and then update my review. Some how I found that I liked a few scenes so fat. ANd that memorable horse scene BL in the last episode was EPIC :)
I agree with your statement concerning the plot and yes there’s so much we don’t know about Taecyeon’s character…
Yes, good point and I respect your opinion. It's just that the FL could have been shown in a so much better way. She is overreacting and am not sure how to put it...but being a lawyer is a serious profession and her portrayal is very childish at times. But a quick note here- The last episode Boy Love scene with the horses and in the bar was so well made. The actor that plays the Bank CEO rerepsented his emotions so well. ( his fascination from SJK during the horse ride). This scene was iconic in my opinion. Well done for that :D
Ok here I am again with a second review for the drama- while I dropped the drama at ep 4 I decided to come back and watch another 3 episodes and since I noticed something positive in the drama i have to point it out to be fair in my judgment. First of all, I am going to start with the negative: -- This drama is really bad. The court scenes are preposterous and not realistic at all -- The FL again - horrible as ever -- The plot is very predictable so far Now the positive: -- SOng Ki is great in his role but the one that shines more than him is the villain. I have not seen this actor before but he is great at portraying such psychopaths. His role is more difficult than the one of Vincenzo and he is truly giving us a great performance. I decided to watch the drama to the end ( mainly his scenes) because he is so good and his character is also very interesting. So far ep 7 was the most interesting and I hope they give more screen time to the villain. There is so much we don't know about him. Somehow i have a strange feeling that he has some kind of fondness for the FL. What are your thoughts about it?
PS: I forgot to mention that the villain has very good English pronunciation. Love his English phrases :P
I wanted to see her with SUn-oh so bad. There was litarally no chemistry with the other guy and everything seemed forced. And sorry but you can't force yourself to like someone no matter how great he/she is
I started watching this reluctantly because I am not a fan of Kim Ji Soo at all. Even so, I really liked the plot and the other characters, and for me, this was enough to continue the show. For me, it was such a relief that they got rid of him and I truly want to see the Princess with General Go. Such good chemistry and they seem like a really strong couple! Now, for the new ML he is bad in his portrayal but he did not have time to prepare so I guess his performance can be overlooked. Maybe he will get better in the next episodes but even if does not I still don't care because the FL and the SML do such a great job that even if they decide to kill him in episode 10 I would not care at all :D I did not feel any chemistry between the ML and FL so their romance i totally irrelevant to me. The other characters are great and the plot is engaging! I hope hope hope they will change the the romance to the SML. He deserves to shine as a ML!!!
If you have not seen the original version- please do. It is that good! I somehow have doubts about the remake…
For me this is the best time travel tv show that I have seen to date. Even thought W two worlds was also very good. The king - Eternal monarch was really bad in terms of story. I liked Lee Min Ho but that was all.
