Don't know why I just can't warm up to this drama. Don't like the over the top scenes, acting of the ML and the FL and this forced comedy moments.... Dropping

season 2?

I want them to have passionate kisses for the sole reason that people will find it really bad and they will stop casting minors for such roles

I hope there are a lot of passionate kisses? My wishful thinking though, knowing the age gap there probably won't be any. May be a new FL that is more age appropriate for this role, why casting a teen??? Not gonna watch such a thing because of child exploitation

I started watching this in 2021 and dropped at the 3-4th episode. Felt the FL was too annoying, and her bad acting and bland expressions made me think that this does not deserve to be watched. However, because of the ML and his great acting decided to give this one another try a few days ago. And I am like this man- Lee Jun Ho deserves an Oscar for the great acting and honestly, overall very well written drama. The FL was annoying till the end, but he was so amazing that I could not stop watching. The final episode was tough to watch, and the last scene could make your heart ache for days. I hated the fact that obviously she loved him too, but never told him that so he was always doubting her feelings for him. Anyway, really strong drama and this man deserves only serious roles ( not like Kind the land or sth) He is masculine, serious, intelligent looking so he strong charisma suits such roles so well. I even raised my rating from 7 to 9 after finishing it now. So yeah, it took me 4 years to bring myself to watch it, but it was totally worth it.

In relation to the above, there was one more series that i watched with not great chemistry between the leads but amazing secondary couple- My Journey to You

After finishing the whole series, I have to say that I expected so much more. The Leads were well chosen and played their roles well but they did not have much chemistry. On the other hand, the secondary couple had such great chemistry and story that will keep you captivated. This was my first time watching the second male lead and he played the playboy in love so well that I could not get enough of the couple. Ofc wanted I different path for them , but nobody asked me :( As for the plot itself , don't know why I felt bored, something was lacking for sure. Beautiful shots, costumes, perfect hair , you could tell this is high budget but I guess they saved money from the writing as it was not captivating enough.

It was good up to episode 20, then ofc we had to watch forced chemistry, childish behaviour (mostly from the ML this time as not in line with his character at all) and some forced :humourous situations ) Somehow , even though I like the FL and ML was not bad well, they lacked chemistry. FL had great chemistry with the ML in love like the galaxy, but could see it here

I did write a review, but will write here as well - watch this , don't even wonder. One of the best drama I have ever watched. ML showed Oscar performance acting

Why, and ask why in capital letters, is this only rated 7.8? Such a great series deserves so much more. There are many bad dramas with ratings of 8.5 and above (which is not justified), but really good dramas often receive a 7-point rating.
