I haven’t started it yet, but based on the comments, I don’t know if it’s really worth watching. The only reason I’d watch it is Engfa and Charlotte, but is that enough? I watched Only You for the same reason, and it was hard to finish.
Honestly, I have no idea why I keep coming back every week. Both characters drive me absolutely mad. They’re not just red flags, they went and put the R on that thing themselves. I would love to know what was going through the writer’s mind while creating Player. It’s like they said, ‘Let’s create two people who are clearly attracted to each other… and then strip away every possible communication skill.
I finally got around to watching Dear X, and one thing I can say for sure is that I’m fully prepared to be manipulated by A-jin. I wouldn’t even fight it.
At first, I hated that manipulative piece of @#$@, but by the end of the episode, I actually felt sorry for her. She completely lost her mind. Ploy’s acting is sooo good!
Queen is a bit of a red flag, but not completely toxic. She’s controlling and possessive toward Bonita, often deciding what’s best for her without asking. She manipulates her emotionally and makes Bonita feel both safe and trapped at the same time. But she’s not all bad. Queen genuinely cares for Bonita, even if her love comes with flaws.
Totally agree. I just feel they should’ve been upfront with Air about their relationship. Not that they owed…
Also, Air had no right to go in Pure's apartment without her knowing it. She always call or send a message to ask if she can come but not this time. Maybe she went there wanting to find out
