Make your own opinion because yours matters, too. People tend to be so negative on episode one of a drama be it if it were good, decent, or straight up "bad" in their eyes. So far, in my opinion, I like it, beyond interested and waiting for the next episode to air.
Instead of asking others, who all have their own opinions, be it good or bad, watch it yourself to judge on it yourself whether YOU like it. You'll get mixed comments between yes's or no's which will make it confusing to you.

I mean, I can't disagree because I absolutely loved Not Me but also, there's Theory of Love that I absolutely loved, too. However, it's cute, in my opinion, how clingy Gun is to Off behind the scenes. I honestly don't know what to tell you other than it can't be undone since, well, it's already be filmed and all that; we can't change it. I'd say to just not watch it if it bugs you that much. Regardless of you reading the manhwa/webtoon, things have been changed and it can't be helped no matter you reject it. To skip over the straight couple, in my opinion, kind of shows that you don't give a shit about other people's love lives, regardless of their sexuality or gender.

You do know that a good chunk of Koreans are still conservative, right? Plus, it's not legal to get married if you're a gay couple in Korea. What I'm getting at is that, I feel like even though this is a BL, the director is also trying to make straight people feel "included". Which is silly, I know, and I understand how you feel; but alas, sticking to the original story source might make you feel better, but it's an adaption. It doesn't need to go 100% by the book, in my opinion.
