I agree and I was pleasantly surprised that he directed my all time favourite mini drama, A Familiar Stranger. No wonder A Pursuit of Jade has beautiful cinematography & gives warm fuzzy feelings
Thank you for the review Bijou. I added this drama to my watchlist because of the poster and Gan Wan Xing (I still haven't watched his dramas). However I wasn't in the mood to watch until I realised the video with that thumbnail can no longer be found in my watchlist. Now I know I won't be watching this drama.

Dropped after a couple of minutes. ML was bullied and FL couldn't care less about him. Somehow the revenge arc didn't hold my attention. Tian Yang was very handsome in this drama I must say.
Be My Kiss is my favourite out of the different versions I watched too. The opening scene is just powerful and yes their chemistry between Huai Wen and the main actress is natural.
