Ok, so... I don't totally hate Luke. He says really, REALLY hurtful things to Flora, and that is NOT ok. But like... I kinda get it. He is genuinely afraid of losing her, and afraid of being betrayed, so he lashes out and says whatever he can to hurt her before she hurts him. This is a defense mechanism, one I myself have used multiple times before. It is a result of previous trauma and bad experiences. That trauma, however, is NOT an excuse to hurt her, but I get it. Flora really needs to stand tf up and COMMUNICATE. The burden of this doesn't fall only on her; she is an adult, even if she is young. She is insecure, and seriously needs to talk it out with Luke before expecting him to reassure her every step of the way. We can be mad at Luke all we want for not clarifying that he and his childhood bsf were not having a thing, but that's only because we, as the audience, knew that Flora knew about his bsf, and that she was insecure about it. He did not have the information we have, so it's reasonable to not know to reassure her. That said, they both need to learn how to USE THEIR WORDS. That's the only way relationships can work. At this point, I think they both need time away from each other to reflect and, for Flora specifically, she needs to get ahead and mature a little more before she can go into this relationship on equal footing. As for episode 13, OMG LUKE PISSED ME OFF SO BAD. I hate how realistic it is, because pretty men (or most men really) are only ever that when they keep their mouths shut. My man would not SHUT UP. It's so hot and cold, I swear.
I actually love how smart and funny the ML is, its so interesting to see. I'm a bit tired of the cold and calculated type. Can they not be incredibly smart AND have humour?
Honestly, the white truck scene was hilarious. I know it wasn't meant to be, but I swear I was crying for entirely different reasons. The characters were out here sobbing and I was genuinely cackling. The way she fell, the lack of logic in her positioning was so funny, like she was MAULED by a truck, and she is completely fine with like a scrape on her forehead, with her clothes and the rest of her body completely intact lol.
From what i know people who believe in zodiac compatibility takes these things very seriously and also yeori probably…
I know, and I do understand her fears, but they didn't build this up at all and just threw it in our faces. It is also just very frustrating. I don't hate the drama; I just really did not like this part of the plot.

OMG, someone needs to snatch 3rd act breakups from these writers. It's good when it's built up and seems genuine, but this one is by far the most forced one I've seen. What the HELL do you mean you believe some year-of-monkey BS from a slightly mentally unstable old woman, and you decide to break up? istg it's just rage bait.
Listen, as much as I loved the 2nd lead couple, I was so freaking annoyed when they tried to sway her decision to keep the child. And even more annoyed when she KEPT it. I understand that some of her reason was because of her parental trauma, thinking she would live to be her parents, and they did reassure her on that. But she also EXPLICITLY stated MULTIPLE times that she doesn't want to get married and have kids. She didn't think she could support them, and she said she could barely take care of them herself. And Gu ALSO said that it was ok if she didn't want to, then provided to try, and I quote, 'influence her decision'. I was really glad that they were exploring this idea that you don't have to have kids if you don't want them, then they proceeded to essentially force the woman to have the child anyway. Pure ragebait.

AHHHHH!!!! We're finally getting romantic scenes from our leads!!!! Baihui and Zeqiu are adorable. I love them so much!!! Also, they NEED to start working on the 2nd couple; I need more seceneeeesssssss.

Probably. Though I hope they don't. There are already so many plot points they need to develop, like the other researcher guy, both the 2nd and 3rd couples, the 2nd male lead being back, and the actual main couple storyline, all in just 8 episodes. Unless all the rest of the episodes are also 1hr-50min long, idk how they are going to pace out everything well.
