It took me quite some time before I finally accepted the ending. It wasn't the ending I wanted, of course as a huge YinWar fan, but that was honestly the ending I anticipated right from the beginning. This series was a fruit of passion and hardwork and it shows. The last three weeks were a short, bittersweet journey. This was so beautiful yet so painful. It did make me cry a river, yes, but I don't regret watching nor hate any part of the series. The drama wasn't something groundbreaking - what made it special was it showed real, flawed people (kudos to the actors' phenomenal acting!) with real feelings. If anyone doesn't know, this series was based on a true story. And I think, the drama has successfully fulfilled its purpose: to tell a real story of real people. The Best Story isn't only Best's story; it is our story.

For me, 8.0 is not a bad rating tho. It's not something groundbreaking but just enough to make your heart warm. A sweet and cute mini series.

I don't have a problem with you sharing unofficial links of the series you watch in general, if it's a paid drama or what, my only concern is... this series is totally FREE on Youtube. Why still go to illegal site? If you can access Dailymotion then just watch on YT? Don't tell me Youtube is banned in your country? I know how the prod team and actors worked really hard for this, and they're not a big company like GMMTV. It was actually so kind of them to put this on YT with Engsub, so I don't understand why there are still people who watch this illegally. If you don't want to support the team and actors despite enjoying their drama, fine. But why did you have to share an illegal link here? What do you get from it? How does that "help" people? A few people already shared the FREE official link in the comments and discussion thread, I'm sure they are the ones who are helping the others, not you.

Hi. Just to inform you, they did not do a "casting" here. This mini series is solely produced by the main actors' agency, Rookie Thailand, probably due to the numerous fan requests for Yin and War to act together again. They're just a small talent agency who hit a jackpot when YinWar unexpectedly gained popularity after En of Love: Love Mechanics. So, I advice you not to expect anything huge from them yet because they're new to this industry, they're still experimenting things. Though the plot of this series may seem old and overused, I can guarantee that the acting won't disappoint. But hey, I'll really appreciate it if you'd spare this, it's not for nitpickers like you. It's for us, who waited a year for this new YinWar drama to happen. Thanks.

Why did ME get pulled out of TV 5 tho?

Yeah? Sorry, I misunderstood. I was thinking of the songs they use in special/romantic scenes. Didn't notice any annoying sounds because my full attention was on the characters. Lol.

OSTs are actually nice, especially the main song that plays during the intro. It is lively and youthful, just perfect for the light atmosphere of the drama. Too bad you can't appreciate it.

Although the story bothered me at first, I honestly enjoyed every bit of EP11 but I HATE how it turned out in EP12. I'm really, really, disappointed. It was getting better, and better, until that stupid it-was-all-a-dream plot twist at the end happened which ruined the whole story for me. I felt like EP11 and more than half of EP12 was the real story and the last ten minutes could just be an alternate ending—a fan service. Still an almost-okay story in my opinion, however, it would certainly be MORE acceptable for me if they didn't end up together instead of making me believe I watched a dream of an 11yr old kid that contains 18+ things. LMAO.

The last scene in EP6 was so heartwarming and romantic. For the first time, I truly felt their characters.
