P'Aof is also not finest in Thailand (one of best in GMMTV for sure).. and you can see his craft has improved over the years.. but even now his dramas are simply not where i would say he is a flawless/extremely well accomplished director...

i feel GMMTV's model right now is.. hire good looking boys.. put them in boys love.. that's a universe GMM has captured.. but they have not invested in good directors.. a few here and there shine.. but mostly dramas are driven by the gang of boys..

agree on chemistry.. they don't look like brothers but there is no chemistry.. shortfall of Winny's acting are very very apparent... in MSP as well he was a weak actor but overall direction did not let that come out... here the director is incompetent and hence glaring acting gaps are visible... whereas you can make out visible effort on Satang's end to play his character (clear difference in body language and overall demeanour from his other characters)
