i don't know what they are testing.. we had addicted remake china and my stand in.. they adapted chinese BL.. one with chinese mainland actors and other with thai.. both are quality...
so if this show isn't delivering on quality.. it can rot.. there is no need to support a bad product to send message that audience will take any crap thrown at them

People here are simply incapable of appreciating complex characters... nobody in this novel is white and black.. every character's move is driven by what they suffered and yet we have these juvenile pea sized brain of audience criticizing and trying to put a flat label of villain and what not...
kids just need lollypops and occasional throwing around a few words to make them appear grown up with some semblance of ability to interpret intellectually....but really their mental capability is enough only to hold and lick a lollypop
