romantic and funny but the storyline isn’t very good

this drama was honestly okay, not good but not too bad.
good: 1. the story is funny and sweet, good for people who like to watch a full romance drama
2. the ost is pretty catchy although it doesn’t suit my taste
bad: 1. the acting was a little fake to some extent like the crying and i felt they could’ve done better. 2. the whole story was just about the lead couple almost the entire time, making it a bit boring.
3. there also isn’t anything to takeaway from this drama.
4. some parts were useless and did not help to bring the story forward

this drama was really inspiring, it made me feel so much and relate with all the characters. it shows the life of 3 families in china and how they overcame their challenges and their gaokao
first, the storyline was different from most dramas i’ve watched, it showed students life in china which is really relatable and realistic. the problems the kids faced with their school work, stress and expectations from parents are all things that a lot of us face too, so i find it really relatable
second, the actors all did a fantastic job and really made me feel like i wasn’t watching a show. how yingzi portrayed herself when she had depression was outstanding, and i felt all the other characters also did well in their own roles
overall, the whole story was well thought out, very relatable and inspiring. it made me learn so many important lessons!

honestly when i first finished watching this drama, i thought it was great. however after watching a few other chinese dramas, i found this one of the worst among them. it’s still funny and the actors looked good but there’s others more worth your time.
first of all, the ending was really bad and confusing. i didn’t get what was happening at all. they had 49 episodes which i thought was pretty long for these kind of dramas but their ending felt so rushed and not properly planned.
second, they kept replaying many earlier scenes which i felt was too excessive and unnecessary as they could have just cut down on the number of episodes.
third, i’ll say this drama is alright for beginners as it’s dubbed and the chinese is very simple, but there are many others more worth watching where you can learn different lessons, but if you’re the kind who likes a rom-com then you can give this a try.

this drama about the romance between people of a big age gap is kind of different from the high school dramas i usually watch so it was quite entertaining.
pros:
1. the story progressed at a good pace
2. they showed how he fanxing has to find herself and what she truly wants, which is probably the purpose of the show
3. the acting was quite good
4. it had a bit of the slice of life vibe
5. the ost was nice
cons:
1. they talked about romance throughout the whole story( there was married couples, office and age gap romance though)
2. ye lu ming and he fan xing spent such a long time together that there so too little time for yuan song and he fan xing to have a nice ending
overall, i think the show is really worth watching, it’s sweet, funny and entertaining, with some valuable lessons to learn too!

inspiring, funny and full of lessons

this was a great drama with many different lessons to takeaway. the storyline is engaging and funny, and also has a slice of life vibe.
first, i think the actors did a really great job, the chemistry was good and there weren’t many awkward moments,( maybe just 1)
second, the storyline is somewhat unique, it’s funny, romantic and teaches you so much. you can see how the different characters persevere through their challenges and overcome their own family/friendship problems
third, all the characters whether main or support were given sufficient time to develop
overall, i think the whole drama was well thought out with a very good storyline!

4. the male and female lead were visually pleasing
5. the ost sounds good and suits all the scenes
6. the plot twist is just wow
7. the drama is about healing and taught me it’s really okay to not be okay

interesting and engaging show

this is the first kdrama i’ve watched and i have to say it’s really really good.
pros: 1. the whole story was really engaging and somewhat unique as they showed how a north korean fell in love with a south korean.
2. the drama was really funny and sweet
3. the acting was good, they portrayed the characters well
4. the ost is amazing
cons: 1. the parts where they talk about some military things are a little boring
2. it may be a little unrealistic how a north korean and south korean can fall for each other
overall, this was an enjoyable drama and definitely an unforgettable one

literally perfect and casual

like the title says, this drama is perfect and casual. compared to the other high school romance dramas i’ve watched, this is somewhat different due to the contract marriage part.
story: it was really funny and lighthearted, i like this kind of romance that the drama portrayed cos it seems more mature then ur usual college romance, but it’s still sweet and warm. i like how zhang si nian is supposed to be cold but the girl brought out his warm side.
acting : the acting was quite good given that this is the fl’s first drama and the ml’s first main role. their chemistry was good and it didn’t seem like they were trying too hard.
ost : there aren’t a lot of songs, but the songs suit the drama well.
overall, this drama is really worth watching!!

romantic

at first, i was a little reluctant to watch this drama, however after watching it i’m really glad i did.
pros: 1. this drama had a good storyline and good character development, especially miaomiao. she changed from being a timid girl to a confident girl. 2. the acting was quite good, especially since it’s lai guan lin’s first time acting.
3. the whole drama was full of sweet and romantic scenes, and they also injected a good amount of humour into it.
cons: 1. the story is a little unrealistic in how the most popular boy can fall in love with someone like miaomiao. i mean there could be because of something else but that’s just my opinion.

good storyline and acting

this drama shows the life of families in china taking their gaokao. i felt the drama was good overall and portrayed the lives of a typical family in china.
pros: 1. there was good character development and all the actors did a good job.
2. the story was well developed and moved at a good pace, there wasn’t once where i felt it was too rushed or to draggy.
3. there are many things you can takeaway from this drama
cons: 1. if you aren’t the kind who likes to watch people’s lives then this isn’t the drama for you as it may get really boring

overall, i think this drama was really good as it had a good plot, good acting, it wasn’t to cheesy and teaches a lot of important lessons
first, i think the plot was good as it showed a bit of school life, romance and work life. it was a good mix of everything and i feel that it was well planned out. however, i felt some parts were a bit draggy and slow-mo which got a bit boring at times
second, the actors all did a good job in playing their roles especially yanmo. he’s such a quiet and awkward character but the actor still managed to pull that off well
third, this show teaches you so much, they have many sad moments and happy moments, i especially like it when the teacher talks to qiaoyi as he says a lot of meaningful things (not going to spoil anything here)
overall, it was well planned out and quite a good drama, definitely recommend it for those who like a mix of romance, a bit of comedy, school and work life kind of show

relatable, heartwarming, shows what life really is like

i really enjoyed this show as it has a good mix of genres like romance, comedy, and family. it showed the lives of 3 kids who were not blood-related but became a family.
overall, this drama is really worth watching is you like rom-coms or those kind of shows which give you a slice of life vibe.
storyline(no spoilers): what i enjoyed is that the drama really showed what life is like by dedicating the first part of the drama to show their school life, and then showing their work life and romance after. i like how this drama is realistic, letting you learn a lot of good values, yet funny and entertaining. however, i find it a little weird how the “siblings” who lived together can end up falling for each other
acting: i think all the actors did a really good job in portraying their different characters, nothing seemed like they were trying so hard or too fake :)
music: the ost was good and suits each scene well. though it sounds a bit sad, the songs sound comforting

waste of time

i gave up watching this drama because it was so so so boring and felt like they had nothing to do. they literally played tennis for an entire episode, and for the rest of the episodes they’re at least playing tennis for half the episode and the rest of the episode is just them doing some overly dramatic scenes. i mean they could have done a time lapse for their tennis match at least?! the plot also seems very lame and unentertaining. the acting lacks emotion and looks like they’re trying too hard, this is probably the worst drama i’ve watched and i’m not planning to continue
