This drama is 16 eps long, so far we have watched 4 episodes and we have already seen how they live, how they gave up on their dreams, How they fight for their family, I'm really curious what the next episodes will be like, I mean is there something more than what we saw in this 4 eps 😭
I loved how this drama feels realistic, it shows the struggles realistically but also shows the love and support between them, there is a very realistic and perfect balance.
The chemistry between Bo Gum and IU is soooo good!!!!!!
Park Bo Gum as usual his acting is soooo perfect, I can't see anyone else playing his role, IU is also great and her acting is flawless, I really love her character in this drama.
Aaah I don't know how to describe this😭❤️
I can see another MASTERPIECE of Kdramas!!

He gave up his studies and his future to stay with her, defending her, working hard to support his family, even buying books for her to study 😭
He couldn't offer much but somehow he offered everything with what he's doing for them😭

Yes I think he will die before her, because in the first scene she was alone when she said she made it to the age of 70. But it's good to know they stayed together for a long time ❤️

Well I was afraid that this drama might have a sad ending, BUT after seeing that they are still together in middle age, it is happy. I think the sad thing will be the obstacles they will face along the way, but no one dies 🙂 I hope that the screenwriter and director do not have another point of view and shock us with a plot twist at the end of the drama 🙂

I only watched 4 episodes but I can give it a 9, this drama is worth watching, I'm so excited for the next episodes to discover more about their story ❤️

For those who liked Jihoon's acting here and want something similar, in the drama Begins Youth he played almost the same character (I mean feelings...) but not the same story and not romantic either.

This drama is so beautiful yet so painful. For me it was worth watching. But if you are looking for something refreshing after watching My Mister, I would not recommend watching it now 🙂

I agree with you, I was actually in good mental health when I was watching it but in the last few episodes I felt depressed.
As you said, it is not for people with weak mental health.

You can still continue watching it, It getd dark only in the last 3 episodes.
Also, I don't think what happened could have been avoided, because after he returned to China, not only Zan but everyone, Song Ran and Shen Bei, couldn't live normally as they were. Everything related to the war remained stuck in their minds. The accident really affected then, they lost close people.
Somehow they all became connected to that country, so their return was something that would happen sooner or later. As for Zan, he knew that if he stayed in China he would be running away from the stimuli and would remain a fugitive for the rest of his life, so he wanted to go back and face his problem. He thought that it would make it better.

I have to say that this drama tricked me because I did not expect that ending🙂

The ending was bittersweet😭 During the last 3 episodes I already expected how it would end because it was clear how worst his condition became, and how it affected his daily life.
His acting was really great especially how he showed us the change in Tsan's character after his illness, I cried a river watching how he was in the flashback and how he became 😭
And also when Benjamin died I cried so hard😭😭
And what they wrote on his grave, his family is unknown and his date of birth as well, but he has brothers, he has Tsan, Songran, Sashin...😭😭😭

I just finished watching it, I really loved the story😭 Chen Zhe Yuan's acting is incredible, really perfect!!!!
For anyone who wants to watch it, I really recommend it. The acting is great, the characters, the vibes, the story, the osts... everything is so good
I give it a 10 for me
