Interesting and Just Right a ten for me
I am unsure why there is so much negativity towards the series. First off, it's 12 episodes; it has to be wrapped up quickly. It was NOT cringe.
For a quick 12-episode series, I give it a 10. They give us a beginning, middle, and end. I thought the special effects were sufficient for the TV K-drama; the acting was great, the show was cute, and not too complicated for something light and airy. Sometimes I find that some K-dramas can be too intense, which leaves me depressed or in a funk after.
This had just the right amount of comedic timing, with some romance and fun banter between the characters. There were some life lessons to be learned. I have seen bad scripts, and this was definitely not one of them. If you are looking for something super deep, you may have to look toward dramas over 17 episodes long, but this is 12, so through that lens, it works out perfectly.
I love rom-coms, supernatural, and even a little sports to round out this series. If you don't want to be stressed out watching a series, then this may be your cup of tea.
