Seung Hyun is so adorable, every time he smiles I just can't...😊
I agree with many that the second episode was great. No misunderstanding, both are interested in each other and the kiss on the cheek at end was perfect, given that SH was drunk so a full on kiss would be too much I think.
I hope this reaches the level of popularity as Semantic Error.

Love it! It sets up the characters and their background nicely. Moon Ji Yong is so cute, adorable and hot at the same time! He looks so much like Park Seo Joon, somebody should cast them as brothers in a drama!!

He wants Do Joon to buy Soonyang rather than inherit it.By not giving him anything Do-Joon learned one aspect…
The issue with this reasoning is that none of these people are actually DJ's real family so it's not that big a deal if he betrays any of them. It's not like he learned to threaten the family because of what grandpa said. He has done this since the beginning for revenge. It's not a life lesson that he learned from grandpa. I mean, he knows not to trust anyone the day he was killed (he even got betrayed by the junior guy).

Also if DJ is as ruthless as you said Grandpa wants him to be, then he should have release the footage of the hospital to challenge the will instead of deleting it to hide his condition. Using his grandpa's illness as leverage would have been "inhuman" but he didn't do that. There is just a lot of things that doesn't make sense with grandpa's action.

This argument doesn't make sense at all. That's exactly what DJ has done in the entire series. He used what he knew in the future to win deals and manipulated the whole family to finally win over the grandfather to think he is the most qualify person to take his place. I mean did we forgot what he did to his aunt, setting a trap to get her shares of the department? Same with his second uncle after 9/11. He wouldn't have "inherit" it but rather "earned" it in my opinion.

Nobody is discussing this show? Well, I like it a lot. It's much better than "His Man", the Korean gay dating show that aired a few months ago. This one starts off a little slow but it does get better when the men work together in a challenge and spent time in a boat party where you get a sense of their personality and which man they like. Some of the men are also hot (Louis/Andrew) so that's obviously a plus. The narrator and his commentary is also hilarious which keeps the tone light. I also like that the men also share some of their experience with being gay.
The only nitpick I guess is that (so far) the show does focus on four of the men much more than the other. I get why they do that as the four way relationship is a "hook" but I hope they try to balance out the show by giving the other guys more air time in the last half.

I don't see the issue with having two episodes left. Episode 10 did a great job of starting to tie up the myster and two episodes are plenty of time and it'll definitely make it more tighter and exciting.

The only thing I find strange is that Episode 9 was a complete filler episodes save for the last few minutes (they didn't even show any scenes of that episode when they showed a brief summary at the start of Episode 10). So my thinking is that if they decide to keep a filler episode like 9, then whatever they cut was probably just another random case or something that can wait until season 2 (like a possible romance beween JiHun and Mari) so I'm fine with this.

Love the original version. It's clever, suspensful, well-acted with a great bittersweet ending. It won Best Drama, Best Screenplay and Best Actress that year in Taiwan. The story really hinges on the performance of the FL. The ML is more a supporting character and doesn't get to shine until the second half of the series. I think AHS will do fine as the ML. The role is not that challenging to be honest. I just hope this version does the story justice.

Is it just a feeling or what about them kissing?
Someone ask JeongHo in IG how did he convince HyukJun to choose him and he said the night of their first kiss!

I am not really feeling the format of the show. The 30 seconds call is kind of a waste of time and shouldn't take up the entire episode. Why would Jeong Ho expect a call when he just arrive that night and barely knows the other men? Why did Hyuk Jun called Chang Min? Eun Chan needs to talk to Hyuk Jun like Chang Yu did to Seon Yul to at least find out if HJ is really not into him. It's like we find out who likes who but nothing really changes the next day.

They need to show more the interaction between the men. Have some group dates, maybe some fun quiz or game to showcase their personality. Make the 30 seconds call more interesting - if both men called each other - have them go on a date to see if they really click, or if a man gets called by more than one person like Chang Min, have him go on a date with ALL of them, and we can see how each of them try to impress Chang Min. I just feel like we don't know much of these men and we are almost half way through the season.

I'm baffled how they can cut TWENTY minutes of the show. That's a third of the episode.

I like the show but I wish they have some team activities instead of going on one-on-one date so soon so the men can get to know each other better.

The 30 seconds phone call is kind of hilarious - none of the receiver can tell who the caller is by their voice. I thought it was setting up to see if the men changes their mind but then the original 6 men were not asked to make a call after the first night. It was kind of weird lol.

I feel bad for Eun Chan, he really went all in for Hyuk Jun. I hope he doesn't get crushed like Changyu.

On Yumi's Cells Season 2 Jul 24, 2022
This season was great and I am satisfied with the ending. I loved seeing how she followed her dreams to become a writer. I also thought she was very mature in handling both of the men's relationship. She never looked back to Woong or lead him on when she was with Babi. The fact that Woong still cling on to the relationship is not Yumi's problem. She was also very honest with her feelings with Babi. She confronted him with Da Eun and she was the one that broke it off at the end when she realized the love is gone between them.

I especially love the award ceremony where she acknowledged the impact that Woong and Babi had on her. They were both important men in her life that supported her and helped her grow. I am pretty sure there won't be a season 3. Yumi is now a successful writer with a great group of friends and "Love returned and she was ready to be happier" and that's all I need to know as she enters the next chapter of her life with Soon Rok.

Finally, I want to give a shout out to the animation team that created the cells. They were all so creative and added a lot to the story! The last scene with all the cells together with Yumi at the window was so lovely!

That confrontation between Woong and Babi cells in the hospital was hilarious. "He is in marketing, he is too good with his words!" LOL I think this is the most dialogue Babi has at once. Why can't he be this open to Yumi? They should have added more scenes like this with the cells between Yumi and Babi so we get a sense of what Babi is thinking.

Sorry Team Woong, the ship has sailed. There is no way Yumi will get back together with him. Did anyone notice that when Yumi and Woong met again in Ep 10, we only see his cells react but not Yumi's? She can't even remember why they break up. I don't think she has feeling for him anymore. Not to mention that Woong was bragging his success which shows pride is still very important to him and this was the cause of their breakup. If his career fails again for some reason, history will just repeat itself. Also Woong initially broke up with Yumi because he was suffering which really hurt her. Now Woong is successful and Yumi will get back to him? That wouldn't even make sense.

I am not sure why people are hating this season. I love seeing Yumi's growth. She was impulsive in quitting her job but then I liked how determine she was to become a writer after so many failed attempts. I also don't blame her for breaking up with Babi. She asked him point blank did he waver when Da Eun confessed and he didn't answer. Put yourself in her shoes, can you really trust someone who wavers so easily? Yes, Babi did a lot for Yumi, always encouraging her and being very sweet but there is always a deal breaker in a relationship and this was something that she cannot accept. Not sure why this is so hard to understand.

The only thing I didn't think was believable was how Yumi quit the very NEXT DAY after she tells Babi not to encourage her so much. That short scene she had with herself is not enough to make me believe she would make such a rash decision.

KSH's acting is amazing but I was just shaking my head so many time during episode 6....

The walk through of the crime scene is ridiculous. There is no way the police is allowed to narrate what they think happened with things like "he started sexually harassing the victim" (based on what??). Maybe it's different in Korea but there is rarely any need for jurors to go to the crime scene where evidence could be presented in court.

There is also no way the defense lawyer would allow KSH to take the witness stand without being prepped and then she didn't do anything when he starts to break down on the stand...just arghh!

Also why was the defense only NOW got hold of the CCTV and questioning other suspects when the trial already started?

Title Yumi's Cells
Why didn't he actually tell her what was on his mind!? I mean why these men can't be completely honestly expressive…
Because women tend to overthink things. Yumi was already triggered when Woong told her Sai Yi was a girl. This was before the whole yuzu tea incident. Even if Woong told her right away that Sai Yi was the one that made them, she would STILL have thoughts and doubts about their nature of their relationship. So while Woong was not being completely honest, "Sai Yi" is the one planting the doubts in her mind.
