the dad is not just a douche, he’s a pedo(slept with a hs girl)
I know that's a very trendy attitude, but a teenage girl is NOT a "child," which refers to the period of life between birth and puberty.
I'm not defending the dad. Banging your daughter's classmate is going to lead to trouble. But he's not a "pedophile" and everything I wrote in my initial comment above still applies. The daughter was a brat from the show's beginning.

Why are you asking such a stupid question? The girl was a nasty brat long before finding that out. Either way, it's not "pedophilia." MDLers like to toss that word around as though it is a synonym of "sex with minor."
Watch the show. I don't think Yoo was cut much at all. It's just a terrible series.
I agree. There is no way it got to be this bad just from cutting YAI scenes. Although...if the first edit focused a lot more on him instead of the other 37 side-stories, perhaps it was a good show. At this point, there's just no way to know.
It's stunning to me that a director would chop up a finished work he'd been producing for more than a year, just to appease psycho Korean netizens. Next time this happens, someone needs to say "I don't give a shit about your petty hatefulness, I'm releasing my film as is. If you don't like it, don't watch it."
That's the only way pscyho Korean celeb/fan culture is ever going to change.
well then don't believe the rating because it's really good
Yes, you're reading into my comment wrong. Why would I be defensive about something I didn't make myself?
I'm not sure any scenes were reshot, but maybe you're right. I've read a lot about this and never saw that mentioned. I thought the director worked with what had already been filmed.
But Yoo was still a prominent figure in the story, so it seems really stupid to go to the trouble of editing him down, but not out, of the film. Koreans are so weird about this stuff.
Did anyone else hate that fat-faced, bratty, teenage girl who was always snarling at her parents? She needed a good smack across that balloon-face. Yes, her dad especially could be a douche, but she started many of the arguments and was snotty all the time. If she were my kid and went to stay overnight elsewhere, I'd request that she not return.
So you've watched it, right? After watching it yesterday with my finger on the fast-forward button, I'm wondering if they edited YAI out at all. After episode 2 he is all over the place, and it's very much an ensemble piece, involving multiple characters and relationships, so it doesn't seem he would have been in the show any more than he was in the final cut.
Or perhaps you mean that the editing in general was choppy, confusing, and just bad.
I agree that this series is a disaster. NF needs to rethink their approach to commissioning stuff out of Korea if the quality is going to be this unreliable.
MDL is the WORST about this type of thing. Of course, they've been only too happy to run photos of Yoo when it…
I'm American, but I have watched just a handful of American films since finding Asian cinema, especially Korean three and a half years ago. I find Asian production and story telling vastly superior to what comes out of Hollywood. I think perhaps I lived a former life somewhere in Asia. :)
Better acted than most multi episode kbl out there. It's sad all around. Getting taken advatange because your…
But think about it...did the kid really "take advantage?" The ML offered to let him stay as long as he wanted to, but he left anyway. Also, he cleaned up the room and went and bought food. Those aren't things people who are "taking advantage" do. I think the kid is protecting himself from entanglements and knew the ML was into him. Considering that, what he did is the opposite of taking advantage.
Question, is it just me or the teenager he fell in love with was in the car at the back seat at the end? Why? I'm…
That's my guess. At first I thought maybe it was his imagination, but he didn't look back there at all, and the kid's always staring at his phone, so he likely didn't even look up when the ML got in the car.

Also, your comment has nothing whatsoever to do with my observations regarding that awful daughter.

Not sure what you mean by this. I skip-watched the entire series.

They can do threeways at their new job!
Some shows really are that bad.
I will tell people to avoid this...thing. THAT is a 1/10.
