Episode 7:

It's remarkable how into this little series I am.
When I started, I assumed it would be a lame little web thing. I was wrong!

I actually teared up when they were having sex and talking...so touching. Love that combination of physical and emotional intimacy. As Akihiro said, nothing is more powerful.

It's so hot how it seems Asian men, no matter how skinny, usually display slightly rounded pecs and butt when unclothed. When Fukami was on top, I was noticing how beautiful his slender body and slick skin were. Yikes, I'm getting myself worked up again.

Also remarkable is how different the vibe is now from the first episode, when it was all about nasty sex and that alone. lol

Regarding sex positions, and as an experienced, versatile gay man, I thought the positions were off-target. :D Fukami was too far down on Akihiro's body for Akihiro's weenie to have been where it needed to be. :) And when he bent over onto Akihiro, the weenie would have popped out. :D

I thought he was saying that before they met, he was a top because, as he put it, in the gay world, there is an oversupply of bottoms, so it made sense to be a top, since as a top, he would be much more in demand, there being too few of them. :)

Knetz are not "interchangeable" with fans, you dolt. MOST fans are not Knetz. Knetz are Killer obsessives, afforded attention far out of proportion to their numbers because they scream the loudest and say the most appalling, potentially damaging things.

Episode 7:
What a dull, meandering, seemingly pointless story.
I keep waiting for something to happen, or for a character to assert themselves in some way.
But, apparently, interesting things are not allowed in this screenplay.

One MC delivers a soliloquy on how important a beautiful house has been to the other MC's life, and I think, "Oh, cool, other MC will maybe stand up to his brother and save the house from destruction!"
Nope. Other MC stays in the house a week longer, then goes running off somewhere to have a fake mustache and chin beard glued to his face while keeping MC on a string as per usual.

Out of the blue, a side character suddenly becomes VERY important to MC.
I hoped for MC to have an affair, for something interesting to occur!
Nope.
I knew from the moment they began to chat on the roof that something awful was going to happen to that guy. Bingo!
Such clunky, obvious BL-style writing. The writers seem to think they have fresh, fascinating observations to make about the human condition, all delivered via voice-over, of course.
The writers are mistaken.

A shy student suddenly appears in the story, paying strangely intense attention to MC, and I hope for a scandalous student-teacher affair.
Nope.
That would be interesting.

MC breaks down (tearlessly) and makes profound admission of weakness.
Four second later he has recovered and is asking for sex from other MC.
Nope.
That would be interesting, thus not allowed.

Only three more hate-watch eps to go.
I keep hoping for this show's redemption, because in the first three episodes, I bonded with the MCs and thought things would happen.
Nope.
That would be interesting.

By your logic, international fans should not watch Korean shows or movies, and forget about Kpop.
After all, it's not our business.

How about Korea's status as #1 worldwide in celebrity suicides as well as suicides among the general population?
How about Korea's status as the #1 country in alcoholism and alcohol abuse?

As soon as Korea accepts my time and attention to their creative content, I become an audience member. As an audience member, it is appropriate for me to notice and comment on any damn thing I want to about Korea's movies, dramas, music, culture, laws, society, whatever.

I'm American. International people certainly don't hold back in criticizing every facet of American culture/society/politics/whatever, and I'm glad they do.

Yoo Hai Jin is an acting god.
As I see more of his films, he keeps moving up my fave actors list.
His range is extraordinary.

I only recently saw "The King's Warden," and was happy to see he won the Baeksang for it.
He deserved it.

Yes, I read up on it online.
"Frustrating and gory" are why I want to watch it. :D
I like movies that challenge me, even if eventually things go too far in either the confusing/frustrating, or gore departments and I drop out.
I dropped out of the successful, popular Korean film, "I Saw the Devil," for that reason. Gore for gore's sake is not my thing.

I have been watching the silly/horny BL, "Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami," which stars the lead of this film. I like what he's doing in that show and was intrigued to check out a film that sounds like the opposite of "Fukami." :)
