A lot of times I’ll watch something and I’ll think “wow I loved this, what did other people think” and then I’ll check the reviews and it turns out they didn’t love it like me. And then I think “wait was it actually bad and I shouldn’t have enjoyed it?” But THEN I remember I have free will and I can feel however I want about anything I watch and I can absolutely love a series even if the majority doesn’t because my brain said we liked it and that’s all that matters! Yeah it’s quite silly goofy in the beginning so you don’t take it that seriously but then there’s that switch up in the middle and it’s like “oh wait this is like really good”
Took a semi long break from BLs and this was my return to the genre and it was a perfect choice. I loved it so much. Already want to watch it again lol
Okay I’m confused. I’m on episode 3 and I swear it’s showing me stuff I’ve already seen before? Am I confused on the timeline of the show because I’m watching and can’t help but think “wait didn’t this already happen?”
Feel like a lot of the conflict could've been avoided if in the very beginning Ritsu was upfront with Masumi. Some sort of dialogue of "I do wanna be with you but I want to be with other people as well, what do you think about that?" rather than it sort of being sprung on him and him learning from someone else. Now does that guarantee anything would be different? No not at all, but maybe!
Anyway, I really loved this one. This was one I was actually waiting for week by week. It was the worst to check for the new episode and see it wasn't out yet. I can't always explain what attracts me to a series but this one had me hooked. I think there could definitely be a season 2. A 7.6 rating is far too low is you ask me.

Very cute, very sweet. I liked watching this concurrently with I Will Knock You because it was like a weekly double dose of fluff and I love fluff in dramas. Also very much enjoy Gemini/Fourth and I think they're currently my favorite couple in Moonlight Chicken too.
I feel like the final lineup will be 6 Koreans, one of them being Matthew, 1 Chinese (Zhang Hao?) and 1 Japanese (Keita?) because they still want to sell to those markets even though they're xenophobic, and probably Jay because he's American and that's different lol. I think they only put Koreans not from Korea in G group so in the end they can say "but look technically almost half the members are from G group!" Like, it's fine if you want to build a mostly Korean group there's no problem with that but don't put such intense marketing into the idea of making a GLOBAL group if that's actually what you're going for. Do the Thai and Vietnamese trainees even have chance? Honestly you barely even know that they're there...
I kinda wish the final lineup was gonna be like 11 or something so more people could debut but they would probably just use that to put more Korean trainees in there lol. Also let me know if anyone else feels like this but I have a worrisome thought that MNET will use JiWoong up until the very end to capitalize on his popularity, especially with inter-fans and then suspiciously he'll be left out of the final lineup. Or is that just me being cynical?
