I’m a little biased because I’ve loved everything I’ve seen Riley Wang in so far so I feel extremely sad for his character Jin Lun in this. He deserves so much better. I do not like A Sheng at all. I was happy when Xin Mei smacked her for doing what she did!

Yes! I have this issue all the time with the fast forward and rewind thing as far as the subtitles not matching up. It drives me insane. I’ve complained about it to iQIYI but it’s done no good. Thankfully, I’m hoping some of that won’t be an issue now that you can skip the intro in the Roku iQIYI app. I had that issue a lot when I would fast forward the intro which I’d regret because then the subtitles would be behind.

I didn’t go far back in the comments, but what were they thinking with Xiao Shun Yao’s makeup? Were they trying to contour his nose or what because it’s like orange/brown and stands out so much. His eyelashes look pretty though. Lol. Random thoughts while watching. Ren looks great as always.

Lol! I wish I could suddenly understand Thai. You would think I would understand so much after watching for like two years. I had to delete the app again and re-download it and they finally worked. I have this issue way too often with the app and it gets extremely frustrating. I was finally able to watch it about two hours later after I left this comment. It was a very good episode! I can’t believe the series is almost over!

I’m so jealous. I can’t even watch this episode right now! I use the iQIYI app on Roku and I’ve restarted this streaming device three times and the app itself and removed it and re-downloaded it and there’s no subtitles. 😭 I just want to watch my Friday shows.

I don’t know why, but I’m super fascinated about this one. OK, I lied. It’s because he’s a demon.

Just finished the series and I find the last 10 minutes absolutely unnecessary as it had me crying my eyes out. I don’t like that we didn’t get to see them actually reunite in the end either. As we got down to the last couple of episodes, I had a feeling that one of them might possibly die, but I didn’t think both would. 😭

Everyone throughout the series talking about how Jiang Li seems like a different person and has a different temperament. SHE WAS FREAKING 8 YEARS OLD WHEN SHE WAS SENT AWAY! She’s an adult now she’s a stranger to everyone who knew her when she was a CHILD as people grow up and change. This one part of the story just drives me crazy as everyone feels like she should still be her eight year-old self.

So happy to see Fluke again!

So what I’m reading is, I’m good to just stop watching it at episode 35 then after the decision he made at the end of episode 34 since there’s really no HEA?

I absolutely adore Zhang Ling He and had zero issues with the cast but I found the series to be a bit boring. It had quite a few cute moments but I found myself bored halfway through the series and dropped it for quite a while and made myself finish it after watching POJ.

I’m back to say that I’m almost finished with the series (episode 29) and thank god. I really like the main couple and they’re super cute but the second “couple” almost ruins it for me. Sun Bin Yu is an idiot to chase after Ma Shan Shan for so long when she’s been nothing but rude to him and shows her dislike often almost until the end. I’ll never understand why people chase someone who clearly doesn’t like them and give them the time of day. She’s been hung up on her ex the whole time and let him ruin something she was passionate about even years later and still gets angry and cries over him. Girl please. I could’ve done without their “romance” given it took most of the series for her to come around and get together. I’m more annoyed with them then I ended up being with Jia Yun! LOL.

I love that four best friends are dating four best friends. Super cute.

Omg Ke Ke annoys the heck out of me! The second she comes on screen, I’m just like go away and stop being nosy! She’s so dumb and has zero idea how to read social cues. Jia Yun is just a creepy old dude who is old enough to be her dad and always has to get in the way. In the first episode I literally thought he was her dad or some kind of father figure. The constant near meeting of the MLs makes me irrationally angry because they’ve missed each other SO many times. Lol.

I’ve been watching this series kind of off and on as just something in between other series, but I’ve watched six episodes in a row and I’m just like I need to keep watching it cause I find it pretty funny. I love the female friendships and how the girls are with Old Third. Too funny! I did just finish POJ so I went back to this to watch more Tian Xi Wei. I really like her and she’s one of the few females I don’t find annoying.

I came here trying to find answers to her character cause I too am on episode 10 and she’s driving me insane. I feel like the last few Chinese series I’ve watched have some kind of annoying and/or whiny female character in it and it totally ruins the entire show for me.

Just finished the last episode and I’m sad it’s over. I haven’t been able to sit through a series from beginning to end in a while. I usually get kind of bored between episodes 15 and 20 and find something else to watch. I may or may not come back and finish that series. I really enjoyed this and liked all the characters, even the villains. Lol. All great actors!

Adding to this, episode 26 she says her period is a week late. She’s always denying him a kiss though there’s been a few here and there, but we’re supposed to believe that they’ve slept together and she could possibly be pregnant? When did I miss them like even remotely being that close and alluding to them sleeping together?
