She would have had the chance to actually know some personal things about him, if the writers didn’t decide to pull the classic plot convenience bs where he was going to tell her about the accident and his past life at the beach but she fell asleep lmao.

One thing that bothered me about haran’s character is how “obsessed” or really how attached they made her to chan’s character so fast when he left to go back to the US(dumb plot convenience aside). That was very forced imo, I get he helped her get out of that slump and he’s obviously a good person but they overdid it with how she was acting after that.

Yes it's extremely easy to tell when a drama is shit because it has big names + a mediocre script which from the summary it's obvious this will be filled with cliches and bad tropes. I never stated all dramas get high ratings because of big names can you read? I said "rate SOME dramas highly" sometimes a drama is so shit that a big named actor can't carry it but I did state a fact that big names at least on this site play a big factor in overrating the drama. I go based off facts and the facts are that people on this site do rate some dramas highly just because an actor they like is in it I've seen it myself people making new fresh accs to inflate the rating of the drama or review bomb it. Metrics to a good show is based on your own criteria. Valuing things like well written characters with depth and not one dimensional character archetypes/cliches. A coherent plot that doesn't have any contrivances or conveniences. Good cinematography and an ending that ties up the plot + subplots. That's just the surface as well there's more that I can go in depth in but I'd rather not write an essay for a pea brained individual like you since you think good ratings = good show.
