Short and sweet but leaves more to be desired..

Giving them only 8 eps really was a disservice to their love story. Yes it's a slow burn... The slowest actually but compared to the other stories that are also slow burns it's like they just wanted to wrap up the Fourever You series as quickly as possible and gave the cast and story crumbs. They could've combined the first couple of eps together to make it so the time skip happened a lot sooner. Six eps of one sided love/yearning, one ep with a confession and dating, then one of them being together makes everything too rushed. It also doesn't give any time for viewers to see Nao actually fall for Tiger, it makes it seem like he's forcing himself to like him so he doesn't lose him. Which as a novel reader is not the case. There was so much inter dialogue that Dao had, conversations with Dan, and North and the other boys about how he felt about Tiger from high school all the way up until he tells him the feelings are mutual. WAYY more moments of Tiger and Dao together. From what I can tell the show ends way before the novel does and that not even counting the special chapters.

If you felt like this wasn't enough I BEG you to read the novel. It's one of the best (THAT'S MY OPINION) of the five in total. Obviously a show can't show everything but wow do viewers miss out on so much. Them growing up together, Sing and Ben's story, more of the dynamic of their friend group, them actually falling in love, the nc's 😜. I won't spoil anything that happens after the show ends but it's a good read.

I think Pie, Golf and everyone did the best with what they were given and look forward to seeing them again (I'm looking at you Star Scope).

Who am I without WU?!?!

You say you don't watch anything without romance? I can promise you this is deeper, more heartfelt and far gayer than anything you've ever watched.

The hill I'm willing to die on is that Sky and Nani have better chemistry than your fav bl actors. FIGHT ME.

If its gay af or the craziest friendship I PRAY, this kind of love finds me someday.

It's heartfelt, emotional, beautiful, has the perfect amount of realism that makes you feel seen/heard where it's not to heavy that it pulls you out of the story and makes sad or feel a negative way about anything in your own life. The lighthearted funny moments brings the show and story all together.

It's literally only 9 eps. You are only hurting yourself by not watching this masterpiece.

As a supernatural girl I was going to watch regardless but didn't have high expectations because other than Goddess Bless Your From Death (I have some beef with Khemjira) IMO there hasn't been any good supernaturals shows out lately. I love this spin of heaven, demons and evil. Nothing I've seen done well before.

WATCH IT OR CRY ABOUT IT, EITHER WAY SKYNANI GIRLIES WE WON!!!!!!!!

Sugar, spice and everything nice. hehee

Fluff? Check!!! Cringe? Check! Angst? Check!! Soft Spice? Check!!

This series was a huge surprise for me, I'm typically a drama, messy, supernatural, sometimes bad plot kinda gal but being a fan of Por from Your Sky (watched as a pallet cleanser and didn't hate it) , TeeTee from DMD friendship and loving DEXX I knew I needed to support even if it meant playing it in the background and WOW did it blow any and all expectations I had.

Its funny and lovable, has the type of cringe that makes you pause the show and take a DEEP breath to push yourself to keep going, but after the first couple episodes you get used to it. Heavy emotions don't hit until later in the series and when they do it really wraps the whole story up for you. The soft spice is what shocked me, TeeTee needs to show some of these older "vets" how its done cause WOW.

I'm not new to BL in the slight and the concept is not unique but what these young boys brought to the show has been a huge surprise and they have set a bar so high its going to be hard to top.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Maybe Thank You. A thank you to TeeTee, Por, and everyone apart of Duang with You, it has been such a delight to watch every week and I can already feel the emptiness of it being over. Can't wait to see more from my babies in the future :)
