"Morality applies only when choices are abundant" sorry I hate to butt in, but I have to say I cannot agree! Morality applies in every situation. Morality is not just for times of ease. The more difficult the situation, the more important it is to cling to morality. It is not easy but then what is the point of morality in the first place.
I thought I was the only one bothered by those romantic scenes! It wasn't how I thought the forced intimacy scenarios…
yes exactly! the romantic scenes were just a bit "off", and it didn't have to be that way...
This is a story about a young woman who is strong both physically and mentally, facing off against the world; I think that maybe, like, there's this idea that "strong" women aren't allowed to want or give in to romance, or it always has to be a fight or drunk etc. - otherwise she is "weak". Which is such an odd, untrue and foolish thought.
A female character can be strong in every way and still be soft to romance at the same time. It does not contradict her strength.
So I watched this and I thought it was okay...but I was sad every time they hit the bird or called it stupid. Like, why??? It's just a cute bird? It's doing its best to please you? Taking an animal to eat it is one thing, but if you are going to use the services of an animal, do you really have to be mean to it ALL THE TIME?! :'(
Also wasn't keen on the weird voyeurism theme... doing it once for comedy okay haha move on. But it was laid on so thick it makes me wonder about the writer's/drama makers' mental state.
AND what is it with being romantic only under the influence of alcohol or drugs? I hate it! I might be in the minority here but I would much prefer be sober and all in before initiating kissing and whatnot.
I did enjoy the drama, but there were so many things doing my head in!
