Grandpa shouldn't have had a voice to speak with. I feel nauseous watching everyone fuss over him. Now nobody looks truly evil in the drama besides Prince Ratchata, the cartoon villain.
All this thing about making Ava a strong and independent woman and in just a minute an arrow hit her to end up…
Ava being hurt doesn't negate her independence, but you're coming from a perspective where her narrative got disproved from being piggybacked by a man. Ramil is the biggest and strongest, so they had a higher chance of survival by getting out faster. Ava isn't the type of character to be obnoxiously stubborn and tell the others to wait on her behalf, and Mira can't hoist a woman her own size onto her shoulder, fencing instructor or not. Women don't gain superstrength or obnoxiousness from having asserted their boundaries and independence, and feminists don't ignore biological differences such as strength. It's pointless to nitpick a harmless scene.
Khanin's non-reactions to Wasin revealing things was too awkward. Why did they even write a book for this show if the screenwriter was going to rewrite half of it?
There were many enjoyable things in the book: Khanin himself, Paytai and Charan's friendship, Ramil and Khanin's rival friendship, Ramil/Paytai, Wasin's coup, and the co-parenting of Thatdanai and Tharin. But these things were especially done badly in the drama, if they weren't removed entirely.
Yes, I enjoy parts of the series, and I like the actors. But it's poor quality.
But then again his annoying dig at Khanin and Ava...
It was Ramil being his braggart self and he was quickly shown who he is. The drama seems to be exaggerating more often than not to make the contrasts more impactful.
